This is a very average family restaurant with carpeted floors and tons and tons of people waiting. It is loud and very chaotic. The food is average and the portions are adequate. It is one of the few restaurants in Jackson so I understand why it would be busy. I got Haddock and it was good and my husband got a steak tip chicken wing combo. The place is huge and there were many large groups. If one is hungry and not fussy about ambiance ( restaurants with carpeted floors are just eww to me) this is your place.

Wow am I glad a local Italian restaurant had a 45 min wait and a crappy attitude. We were staying locally and stopped in to The Red Fox for dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff and told about 30 min wait. Gave our name and went into the bar. Ordered our drinks that were amazing and perfectly made and after 1 sip. Our table was ready. Our waitress Cassie was so incredibly friendly and attentive. Our meal came out and everything was awesome. The prime rib was perfect and my steak tips were delicious and the ribs were legit meat falling off the bone. We have been to the red fox several times and it never disappoints. This place has always been perfect.

My wife and I had stopped by here a number of times, always just to see their "Return of the Pumpkin People" display in October. But this time, we decided to stop in after a day of travelling. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time, even though we were arriving rather late for dinner. Our server, Eden, took our orders and was friendly and efficient throughout our meal. My wife started with a small Caesar salad while I went for a cup of the clam chowder- both were very good and the serving size was adequate. For our entrees, my wife had the steak bourbon tips with Brussel Sprouts as a side; I ordered the Red Fox Combo of steak tips and shrimp, with corn on the cob as my side. Both were really good and more than enough to fill us up, leaving no room for dessert- although they were tempting. Overall, adding in two soft drinks, the pre-tax total came to just under $85. We consider that a good price considering the quality and quantity of food. There are less expensive places to eat, but this is a place to check out if you are in the area.

My husband and I went for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Got seated immediately and our serve was wonderful and greeted us right away. The potato skins appetizer were delicious, we highly recommend!! Lunch was fantastic, atmosphere was great and staff was amazing!! We will definitely be back again soon!

Great restaurant with different rooms depending on your mood. Big dining room, bar area, TV room with comfy booths. Food was excellent and very reasonable. I do recommend reservations as it’s a very popular restaurant and people without reservation had a 30-40 min wait. I had a huge pork chop with a bbq sweet glaze topped with onions on top with loaded mashed potatoes as a side. Save room for dessert and go to the on site bakery for a couple of cannoli $3 each!!

First time we visited this restaurant. We made reservations and were seated promptly. The food was fair. Best part of the meal was the sweet potato fries. Server was terrible. She didn’t smile and didn’t seem to want to be there. She never checked on us to ask how the food was. She was borderline rude. When she served me a martini in a wine glass I asked her why and she told me that all the martini glasses had been used up and that’s all they had left! Not acceptable. What a let down.
Honestly, this was a great family friendly spot that was great for takeout. I even got my daughter a bedtime story at their fox themed gift shoppe.

I got the bbq pork chop special wife got the wood fired haddock. I got the cinnamon bourbon wife got the spiked spritz cocktail everything was perfect. I’m usually not big on pork chops cause they’re usually dry but I took a chance and it was perfect cooked to perfection nice and juicy. We got some baked goods from the bakery inside and they were amazing. This place is on point. Plus all the staff was super friendly and the girl working the bakery counter was really nice and chatted with my wife.

There are several different rooms in which you could be seated, therefore keeping the noise level at a minimum.
After dinner we visited the gift shop and purchased pastry and a tshirt from a very friendly and sweet cashier.
