Very warm cozy atmosphere with a great staff who are so sweet from the minute you walk in. Food was fabulous and service was super fast! Highly recommend!

At first when driving up to the place for dinner after sunset, it didn't look like there was a restaurant there. Driving down to the other end of the yard though, where a few cars were parked, revealed a decorated outdoor seating area at the end of the building and lit windows of the dining room. Upon entering we were the only ones there. Ledt us wondering if the Google reviews were accurate for this place. We were immediately greated and seated. Service was good, food was good. Everything went well except for one thing which wasn't a huge deal, but something that shouldn't need to happen when out to eat, but sometimes things happen for whatever reason. One of the dishes we ordered was chicken chimichangas, but when we got it there was pork inside instead of chicken. It wasn't what we ordered, but nothing that we couldn't live with and we just rolled with it. It was cooked well and tasted good. Since we discovered it when served and not like they came to us saying they couldn't do chicken or something, we figure there was some communication mixup. Other than that it lives up to the high Google reviews rating. We would definitely go again.

Just discovered this place and ate here the evening of 8/19 with my husband his friend that was up for a visit and my son. The atmosphere is really cute and strangely cozy considering when we first pulled up it was in an almost industrial looking building. When you turn into the parking lot in the rear of the building, go all the way to the end and you'll find the entrance which also includes a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. Also,the bathroom is very clean and aesthetically pleasing which is also the case for the men's bathroom I'm told by my dining companions.
To start, we got the queso dip which was hands down the best I'd ever had! I got a michelada, which not all Mexican places seem to have, and this too exceeded my expectations. All our entrees were fantastic. I got the burrito with short rib which I could eat every day and my son got the flag enchilada dish which was delicious. I forgot to ask them but both the corn and flour tortillas were so good I suspect they were made in house. Normally tortillas don't have much of a flavor to me but these were very tasty and fresh. Didn't get any desert but this is the kind of place that when I return I would definitely get one because it would be worth eating which is not how I feel about most restaurants. I realized after I posted my review I forgot to mention how awesome the staff and service were! They were so welcoming and genuinely friendly and very attentive. As we were eating, I saw other people coming in to eat and many of them I'm assuming were regulars but they were greeted like friends ❤️ I hope others have as wonderful a time as we had and we'll definitely return. I only wish we were closer than a half hour away!

Although it's a little hard to find, this relatively new addition to the Jaffrey food scene is definitely worth a try. The service was both super prompt and super friendly, the Mexican fare was among the best around, and the place was both clean and festive. Enjoy!

Great food and service. We sat at the bar and everything came out hot, fast and fresh tasting and the tamales were moist and tasty. My wife loved her cocorita margarita and my beer was cold. They also had a mariachi band playing which really contributed to the atmosphere.
Good pit stop after hiking. You can get a $10 margarita

What a quaint little place!! Moved to the area last year and was told this place was the “best Mexican restaurant anywhere” and I truly believe that after visiting La Piñata!! The atmosphere was CLEAN (always most important to me), the waiters were so incredibly friendly and the service was super fast! I am not a big margarita person but their margarita I got was honestly so good I slurped it right down lol. Can’t wait to come back. 10/10 for sure.
