Waumbek Golf is a wonderful place in all aspects. The golf game is challenging but not too challenging even for us novices. The food at Fenn’s Way is phenomenal. Haven’t had a meal we didn’t like. But most of all, the staff are ALL amazing. From the owners down to the cart cleaners. Each is positive and pleasant making each experience a great one.

The view is spectacular. The menu is pleasantly diverse especially for vegetarian. They were very accommodating to my son’s request to alter the salmon so he could enjoy it. Thank you for an awesome dinner out that was unplanned after Santa’s village

Pricey. Food was ok. I’m a picky eater so there wasn’t much I would order. We were first when they opened. While having a few drinks before we ate, a large golf tournament ended and they all came. It got so busy we waited over 45 minutes to get another beer delivered. It’s a very nice building inside and out.

As we just moved to Jefferson, we were looking for a nice couples evening out, expecting a country club feel with classy atmosphere, great views and food, and also potentially finding a nice local spot to take family members when visiting. Enjoying the beautiful views, we could have gotten past the server forgetting to put our entree order (salat and chicken) in, leading to an hour wait, even though the server indicated 10 minutes after she took our appetizer plates that the entree would be out shortly. Unfortunately, the 8 people that were then seated right next to us, already over-served with alcohol at the bar, belching, yelling and incoherently slurring, and publicly announcing how they drink and drive, using the F-word every sentence, ruined the the evening for us. We opted out of ordering desert for that particular reason. Hard to understand that a new restaurant of this class would risk their reputation for alcohol sales and serve a crowd like this.
The food was outstanding and so were the views and we will come back for those reasons, but hopefully next time there is more awareness and consideration by management so that guests can actually enjoy what they visit for.

We’ve eaten at Fenn’s Way twice now for dinner and the food does not disappoint. Great service, great food and you can’t beat the beautiful view. Highly recommend, the mobster salad, pesto pasta and the fairway chicken are particular favorites.

Place is absolutely beautiful with amazing views. I am celiac and the menu was marked which entries were gluten free which is always nice. We started with the Brussels Sprouts with bacon and maple, absolutely delicious. (my husband is not a Brussels sprout guy and he loved them!). My husband had the Mac and cheese and he loved it. I went with fairway chicken and it was out of the world! We pretty much licked our plates clean! Highly recommend and will be regulars!

Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options!

Really disappointed in the service and management with our visit Sunday. The place is beautiful inside and out, but our party of 8 got forgotten about after we placed our food order and the manager, who was clearly told about the mistake just ignored us instead of apologizing.

The young server was nice, but forgot our children's drinks. He appeared to place our food order on a handheld device he was unfamiliar with, and did not return to the dining room for nearly an hour after taking it. When he finally came back, we still had to flag him down to help him realize our party of 8 had no food. He checked with the kitchen, realized there was no food being prepared, then tried to have it started instead of speaking to us. When we told him we would just be leaving instead, they made it seem like a gracious gift that they were comping our 3 beers and 1 mocktail after we sat for 1:45.

I know mistakes happen, but to see the manager be informed of what was going on, and then watch him keep his back to us instead of a simple apology was absolutely a slap in the face. I hope this review leads to a positive change in attitude there

The course is in excellent condition despite this year's heavy rain. Greens are tough but roll very well. Fairways better than they have ever been! Advice...keep the ball in the short grass.
