Nicolas used to be a fantastic restaurant in Keene, a place with limited upscale dining options, so it was disappointing to see it replaced by Granita Enoteca. The new menu lacks appealing salad choices, limited to a Caesar, beet and burrata, and a cabbage and arugula salad — none of which are as universally appealing as a simple garden or Greek salad might be. The arancini, a usually foolproof appetizer, were poorly executed, and the antipasti platter didn't leave much of an impression. The meatballs were passable. Unfortunately, my wife was let down by their pappardelle bolognese, which dampened our experience since her enjoyment is crucial to me. On a positive note, the filet I ordered was excellent. Overall, considering the high prices, the restaurant falls into the mediocre range and would greatly benefit from a menu overhaul. This is my honest feedback on our experience.

Wonderful experience eating here with my grown daughter. The pasta dishes were a unique combo of tastes and ingredients. Classy but not stuffy. Our server was so polite and friendly. Get the tiramisu! Highly recommend.

Nice ambience and very good service with an efficient and friendly staff. Food was excellent. Delicious home baked focaccia bread, beautiful salads and delicious entrees. This was the best dining experience I have had in a long while.

Our favorite dining experience so far. Efficient and lovely service by Margit,. We dined at 5pm with our two young children and were in and out on an hour! Meals were delicious, as were the drinks!

Every operation has an off day, of course. Granita is still the nicest dining experience in Keene. But this past Valentine's was underwhelming and uncharacteristically uncomfortable. Seating by the entrance is susceptible to drafts whenever the door opens, and on busy night in the middle of winter, sub-30 temps, that's an issue. Because it's so cold in the foyer, those waiting to be seated coagulate tableside, resulting in a constant hovering of bodies as you eat. Chalk that up to availability and luck of the draw, perhaps. But presentation and food is controllable. Our tagliatelle arrived room temperature at best, focaccia bread was almost chilled, drinks ungarnished, and cheesecake dessert was served broken and poorly plated, lumped on the side of the dish. Long review short, the high traffic had a diminishing effect on quality. Props to management for recognizing the situation and going out of the way to apologize. We'll certainly be back, but maybe not on a winter's holiday.

Great meal and service, but prices combined with portion size are ridiculous - small-sized salad (essentially a side-salad) for $15? I remember when these used to be twice the size for that price. And $38 for 4-5 scallops is over-priced, no matter the quality. I've always loved it here, but the prices will deter me from visiting even for a special occasion.

The crispy brussels are excellent, as are the pasta (pappardelle) and the short rib. Save room for the panna cotta. Our waiter (Joe) was patient with our questions and there when we needed him. There were 4 of us, no complaints.
Valentines dinner was a huge hit! Granita is an impeccably managed restaurant. The service is amazing. Everyone works as a team. We were served by what felt like the entire staff. People happily working together honorably serving others. We felt special. The food is incredible and the prices are super fair. We loved everything we ordered. Overall great experience. My husband and I came for Valentine's Day. We ended up having our gender reveal cake brought over for dessert. The manager was so nice. She recorded a video for us to document our special event. The food was amazing and the staff was great. Would highly recommend coming to this restaurant
Wonderful dinner at Granita. Great service and delicious meal as always. We love watching the kitchen humming along, love the warm and comfortable atmosphere, and especially appreciate the gracious, friendly service from start to finish.

AMAZING!!! We had a fantastic dinner at Granita Enoteca. The food is at a high level. This was the best meal we have had in a while. Service and ambiance are great. Food was delicious!! Definitely the place to dine when visiting Keene.
