Not the best experience or meal. Bartender needs training in how to manage drink orders and her bar patrons. Meals were OK. Salmon itself was very good, but it was plopped on top of a serving of "breakfast potatoes" with the romesco sauce and was an odd combo/presentation for the $$.
Thought we were making reservations at Luca (a favorite) but found out when seated that under new owners/name now. Had to get up to find waitperson to ask where a glass of wine we ordered was. Had to call out to waitperson to ask for pepper. Practically empty restaurant so not due to over-business. Their freezer was broken, I overheard, so wondered about food sanitation. Food was average.
Over all experience was good. Food is good. The chef is new since we last went. Our first visit last year was delicious and elevated. This recent visit was good, but didn't wow me. I'd go back and try some other items. My short rib gnocchi was very good. The Parker house rolls warm and tasty. Definitely give it a try.
