I've been going to this place on and off over the years, back when the old owner ran it, and it was great. They had delicious specials every week, and it was a spot worth coming to. But now? Not so much. The place is crawling with flies and fruit flies, and they even land on your food sometimes—it's pretty gross. It's dog-friendly, which is nice, but folks don't always pick up after their dogs, so watch your step.
The bathrooms are filthy and smell terrible, which ain't exactly a good look. The service can be hit or miss depending on who's behind the bar, and the pours and prices change with the bartender, too. The food now is just average at best—definitely not worth going out of your way for. There are better places to eat in Keene.
Now, the only good thing I can say is that it’s right next to the laundromat and the gas station, so it's convenient if you're already there. Honestly, this place needs one of those Bar Rescue shows to come in and fix it up.

Cliffy's is a great spot for a quick beer or two. Great Wednesday special on. 50 wings. Fun atmosphere. Could update and fix some things around the bar room. Sometimes customer service aka bartenders expect you to know about specials after you've had a long day of work. So in my experience service could be more welcoming and considerate.

Monadnock Rugby Football Club
This spot is great. Nice bartenders, great value for food and drinks, and fun-loving locals. The outdoor space is awesome. We love coming here with bigger groups, especially after rugby practices/games. Try the burger… you won’t be disappointed!
