Okay, so I don't know if it is a New England thing but breweries up here aren't up to par... 9 Beers on draft/list.... Maybe it's the lack of breweries so nobody has anyone to look to for advice. Beer subpar

Surprising discovery! I usually visit Tree House when in the area, but was staying in Keene and tried it out. When the only IPAs you have are DIPAs it's already a good sign, and boy was I impressed!Very good beer. There is a strong beer production smell indoors (you don't smell it after a bit), but anyway the outdoor seating is perfect for a few beers. As a bonus, downtown Keene is very charming

Somehow still a sleeper in the crowded craft brew arena, Modestman manages to release hit after hit of the hazy style New England IPA with limited fanfare. Certain brews rival the ever overhyped Treehouse, where a blind taste test would certainly leave some wondering which is truly superior. The sometimes quiet and unassuming tasting room in Keene’s downtown is well worth a visit to try New Hampshire’s best locally made beer.

Great beer selection and great beer altogether. Friendly staff and a casual environment.

If you are a weary traveller like I was, this was an awesome spot to take a pit stop. The surrounding main street is picture perfect Americana and the beers and pizza here are very solid.

First time there today. Very intriguing, reminds me of a beer garten.Easy to read menu with amazing selections of fresh brewed beer on site. ???????

The other two Keene breweries were closed and we are so happy that they were. The IPAs are awesome. The bread dough that they make and bake their pizza crust and pretzels from is awesome and made from the spent brewing grains. The guy at the taps was awesome on the evening of Dec 19. Clean place to boot. We'll be back. Hopefully, we'll see you there.

Awesome beer! And cool ambiance. Only issue is the fruit flies. Was here 2 weeks ago and there were fruit flies. Came back today, still fruit flies. Please take care of these flies.

Excellent beer, & love the spaciousness both in and outdoors. Their aesthetic is nice & low-key; nice lighting, clean modern furnishings, & the music isn't so loud that I can't talk with my partner. Glad to have been able to experience this place.Aside, their branding is super sharp. Nice work there.

Great atmosphere! Seating inside, outside along Main St, and out back. You can bring your own food to enjoy on site. Lots on tap and plenty in cans to take home. Well worth a visit if you're in Keene

One of the top breweries in NH

Best beer in town, maybe in the state.

Made myself choke down a taste of each of the IPAs that were on tap. Not great. The Kolsch was unadorned and boring. The Peach Beliner Weiss was drinkable, but definitely not worth the hour drive for me. Maybe stop alone if you’re curious or not fussy, but if you chase good beer, go somewhere else.

We enjoyed an afternoon brew at Modestman Brewing. Staff helped us select the best brews for our tastes and the beers were good.
