First time here [couldn't get in last time it was packed] and it was a great lunch. Eclectic menu with something for all. The menu is full of their own twists on some classic dishes like Poké Bowl and Gyro.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Stage Restaurant in Keene! The atmosphere was classy but comfortable — upscale without feeling stuffy. The food was absolutely top-notch.
We started with the fried Brussels sprouts, which were so good! The maple aioli that came with them was a match made in heaven — I even asked for extra so I could dip my sweet potato fries in it later.
My husband ordered the Nouveau Burger, cooked to perfection, and I had the fish sandwich with those amazing fries. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.
The service and overall vibe made it such a great experience. We left full and happy, and we’re already looking forward to going back!

Our waitress, Sky, was very friendly and attentive even after a very long busy day serving Pumpkin Fest attendees.
I ordered the fish sandwich and an apple pie martini. The drink was good, the sandwich was basic and a bit lackluster. I'll order something different the next time.

The food was delicious, but the wait was long, the place is a bit noisy, and they don’t offer Wi-Fi. On top of that, my phone signal was terrible, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable.

A bit pricey for what I'm used too but the place was great. Good people, nicely spaced apart, where we sat atleast. My mother is handicapped and without asking the waitress accommodated her which was nice. It can be embarrassing at times to be asked the obvious and for her to feel welcomed and comfortable was awesome. We had a cpl drinks 2 soups and some burgers the bill was a bit over $200.00. The drinks were ok, food was great. But I think 200 for 4 ppl is a bit much. If you have it to spend, try it out, it was definitely worth going! They have inside outside dining and on the side of the building was a GORGEOUS ally way they made into seating. Check out the pictures or not guess I can't post pics? So cute, so Keene!

Definitely the best Reuben I’ve had in a long time. Piled a mile high with fresh hand cut corned beef oh my goodness it was so good. I’m gonna go back just have that sandwich. Great service here too everything was on point.

Friendly and very efficient service throughout. Super menu and excellent food. Busy on a Wednesday evening in October - I highly recommend this - wise to make a reservation.

Absolutely amazing food. I had the shrimp scampi app which was so flavorful in the perfect way and it came with really good garlic bread that was great to dip in the scampi sauce. Then the fish sandwich was so flaky and also flavorful. Only tip would be to ask for tartar sauce on it/in the side.
Side note, I went on a weekend and they only serve apps, salads, and sandwiches for lunch. After 3pm, they add more entrees to the menu so plan accordingly for what you are looking for. They also have outdoor and indoor seating which is really nice!

We found The Stage by accident as we traveled from Manchester NH to Brattleboro VT. Trip Advisor led us here, and we were impressed. Keene is a very pretty town, with nice people except when they're driving. More on that later. The fish sandwich my wife ordered was excellent. Pan fried, panko-coated, non-greasy cod, with in-house-made brioche bun and aoli and dill sauce. My gyro was well cooked, with caramelized peppers, onions, and--I think- zucchini. The sweet potato fries we both ordered were very tasty, but slightly mushier than we've had in the past. Cole slaw was terrific, and very different from our Southern slaw. It was probably because the aoli is lighter in texture and taste than in our typical mayo-based slaw. Only real negative was the parking. DONT PARK IN FRONT OF THE CAFE! The website suggests where to park. Take their suggestion seriously. Drivers here are aggressive and angry for some reason, and might git you if you try to back out of a parking spot in front of the cafe'. Why are they so passed off? I'm curious.

Five stars for the amazing Braised Short Rib! This dish was the definition of comfort food excellence. The meat was unbelievably tender, falling apart with the touch of a fork. The star, though, was the deep, dark, and perfectly reduced braising sauce—it was a complex, savory reduction that coated the meat beautifully. Paired with the creamy and well-seasoned mashed potatoes, this was a truly memorable plate. Highly recommend!
