My Sister and I stayed at the hotel and went down to bar for dinner and drinks. We ordered a few things to share. I'm not even sure if they have an actual chef working in the kitchen, the food was horrible. The trash can nachos looked so nasty, I couldn't even look at it and had the waiter take it away. The flatbread had a weird canned nacho cheese on it. Definitely not how it was depicted on the menu. The decor was really shabby as well and the place needs a good deep cleaning. Disappointed to say the least!

This bar has great potential but it keeps missing the mark. Unknowledgeable staff behind the bar as in, I asked what was on draft and was told " a lot". That was not the response I was anticipating. I was there to see a band and there was a cover ( bar requirements not the band's) and the drinks felt too expensive considering. Only 2 bartenders working on a band night so the waits for drinks were at least 15 minutes. Unattentive staff in general. Thankfully the band was entertaining or I wouldn't have stayed. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm

You would think a bar connected to a hotel would be able to tell if an out of state ID is fake or not... me and a group wanted to get one shot and then go back to our hotel room, we went down to the bar, took out our IDs to be checked, and the bouncer working asked if he could call the police to check our IDs, so of course we said yes and he ended up kicking us out before any cops came. He probably never called them in the first place. It's ridiculous that a 26 year old can't get a shot at a bar because they are from out of state and the incompetent bouncer can't tell if it's real or not. We come to the Best Western in Keene every year for a bowling tournament and when it was waxie o'conners we never had a problem or such bad service. We will never come back, will just go somewhere with better customer service. This incident occurred the night of March 7th 2020, and I recommend that the bouncer working should get replaced by v someone who can actually do their job and be respectful. The bouncer gave our group of 6 such a hard time to get in! The youngest age of the group was 26 and they wanted to call the cops to check our ids. We told them to call them to prove a point and they said they did but never dialed. They then got into an argument will another member of our group and never even asked for her id! Not too mention two members of our group were in there the night before and their ids were good for then. The bouncer said "it looked funny last night but I just let it slide"...? Honestly, the most ridiculous situation I have ever been in being 28 yrs old. The bouncer was just beyond rude! Will not be returning and will tell everyone else that comes to Keene for Bowling Tournament weekends to not go either.
Big plus for having some really good live music. Drink and beer selection is average and the food is decent. Understaffing has always been an issue,. Two bartenders holding down a bar that size on Friday and Saturday nights is crazy and not fair to anyone. Wait to get a drink or food at the bar is ridiculously long. NOT the wait staffs fault, they do their best. If a live show is advertised as FREE on the bands website, I don't want to have to pay a surprise $5 cover and it's happened twice.

We stopped in here while traveling through the area for lunch last fall and we quite happy with our order. Our server was friendly and attentive. I started with an Allagash Draft followed by an Outlaw Blonde. I had the 10 wings order while my wife had the delicious Barbacoa Short Rib Sandwich. Total bill came to $ 51 before tip. Quite please, we got our tummies fool and off we went to our next adventure! Thanks folks!
