Our experience there tonight was truly disappointing, to say the least.
We had Leah as a server: not only was the baseline service subpar (being generous), but the food came out cold, the steak was way too overcooked, and our appetizer came out after our meal. I had to jump out of my seat to get the server's attention, as she walked past several times, refusing to look up from the floor. When we informed Leah that the steak was overcooked, she first said, “This has been happening all night.” Then she said, “There’s not much that can be done about it now,” and left the steak on the table. Like, what? Plenty could have been done about it, but dismissing it was not one of them. The manager came out to see us when we were leaving, and although she was kind by allowing us to vent our frustrations, nothing was done about it. I understand that the place can be a hit or miss, but that was a brutal miss; probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in some time. It will likely be a while before we try it again; indeed, we will not go for the steak, zero of five stars: from the poor service, to the cold, overcooked food, to the lack of accountability or consideration. This is the first bad review I've submitted, and perhaps next time, it will give me a reason to remove it (I'm not a bar person, but that seems to be the spot to get good service there, so maybe try that in the future). I appreciate local businesses and try to support them. Nonetheless, the only option I have is to leave a bad review, as personnel at Carriage Town provided no other option.

Carriage Towne Bar and Grill was very accommodating the banquet we held there. There was about 15 of us and the seating arrangements they made were fantastic. We could converse and had plenty of room. The staff was very friendly and attentive to everyone’s needs and desires. The food came out all at once and was delicious. Everyone left full and most had a Togo container as the portions and quality of food exceeded expectations. Without a doubt I would have my banquet there again and even any other gathering. The atmosphere was amazing; it was very welcoming, the staff was friendly and even the other patrons were friendly.

excellently prepared dishes consistently on every visit .very precisioned managed even when crowded ,clean,friendly, fast efficient service i like that they keep checking back on you during your great dining experience.also, excellent portions, definitely worth the drive that keeps me coming back....
And yes,they have takeout, take it home and take all the credit!!

I used to really like this place. The food was good the drinks were good. The regulars seem to like it. Bartenders can be okay. but don't try to have any type of real conversation with anyone that doesn't know you. Very much a townie bar. The bartenders have their favorites and they will always be treated better than you
