We visit every year and decided to give Memories another chance despite the recent reviews. Unfortunately, they were accurate. The experience was very disappointing. The place has really gone downhill, and the new owners are not keeping up with the traditions that made it special.
If you’re into the whole “crunchy granola vegan” vibe, you might like it, but it’s definitely not what it used to be. I ordered a milkshake, and it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. I ended up throwing it away.
Memories just isn’t what it once was, and it’s sad to see such a decline.
Regardless if the new owners have been in the industry before it’s not what Memories used to be, which was such a staple to Kingston.

My husband and I frequent memories regularly when we are out on his motorcycle. Today we decided to stop in for the 2nd time this summer. I agree the ice cream is not as creamy as usual. And my husband's pistachio last month had very few pistachios. BUT that's not the reason for this review. The owner needs to educate whoever has been put in charge of mowing the area ZHow and when to do it properly. My husband and I were sitting at the picnic tables under the trees across from the barn at 11:30. There were several cars parked in the parking lot and a few families with children and elders...a person came out of the barn with a ride on mower all going ho mowing the dirt and gravel up into the air. He proceeded to go into the small strip of grass near the barn/port o pottie. NOTE the grass was very short and did not need cutting. We thought well he's not going to come over here. But yes he did.. he zoomed across the dirt and gravel lot up onto the side of the tables and chairs and shot stones and debris at us. My husband waved at him and told him to move because we were getting stoned and dust but he just became more determined to blow stuff around. Well sorry but this is a huge no no. He could have put an eye out. He could ha precipitated an asthma attack. He could have chipped a customers car window or paint. We got up and went to the porch to notify the manager. We moved way over to finish our ice cream but he wasn't finished. No he decided to cut in front of the porch and stairs blowing up dust on 4 elderly customers and flooding the air near the order pick up windows. This is totally unacceptable. Maintenance should be done pre or post hours.. the owner needs to rectify this immediately.

Such a fan of this ice cream establishment for years. I’ve noticed the flavors have been scaled back. Missing our favorite flavors cherry chip and M&M 😢

Waited in line for about 10 minutes or so. There were younger teenagers working there and they didn't know what they were doing. They messed up our ice cream 2 TIMES IN A ROW! I am NOT exaggerating. Yes, they were slammed, but learn how to fulfill customer orders. Especially customers that tip you FAIRLY! DUH! 😠 😡 Never again will I come back here.

We came to get an ice cream after a trip to the beach. We waited over 15 min and both of our ice creams were messed up. We watched them mess up on multiple other orders while we waited. So disappointing. I’ve come here several times before but not again.

Used to be good. Got my regular chocolate chip and pistachio in a cup. Not one nut in the pistachio and the CC had a wierd aftertaste. Not the same. I will not be back. Additionally the logo looks rediculous. Stick to burgers.

I had an ice cream cake made for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday and it was awesome. I asked Lillian if she could decorate with a sea theme as my granddaughter’s favorite stufffed animal is a purple octopus with a Christmas stocking hat ? named Darla. I brought Lillian the little fish, octopus and other sea creatures I bought off Amazon and she did a beautiful job and everyone loved it. It was probably the most delicious ice cream cake I have ever had. And the price for a custom cake is extremely reasonable. I highly recommend and will be definitely be ordering again soon♥️

Best ice cream place around. Good sized portions, extremely yummy ice cream, and friendly staff. Plus you can hang out with the friendly goats in a relaxed fun area with benches and chairs. Great for the whole family and dairy free options available.
