I had the Furious brisket sandwich about av week ago. Best brisket sandwich I have ever had, and I have tried plenty and made quite a few briskets of my own!

We are here right now and can't even find the place. Not sure if it's closed or moved even though on google it's showing that it's open.

I think the person claiming they are closed is wrong? I ate there August 31 2019. Ownership change? Proper good BBQ. No soggy ribs with sauce tacked on after. I have a really hard time finding good sweet and spicy ribs, but they delivered. Really glad to have good BBQ right next to the beach.

UPDATE June 2019: Apparently, the Weirs Beach location was burglarized last year, and they have CLOSED. The owners still cater, but they no longer have their location on the Pier. I hope they find a new place to land! ****** We tried this place hoping that we'd get some good, flavorful BBQ. Don't let the Weirs Beach location make you think that this is a 'tourist' spot. It's quite good, tasty BBQ. My husband opted for a Pulled Pork plate and I got the Que-bano, a twist on a Cuban sandwich using their pulled pork as the main meat. Both were flavorful. The meat was moist and chunky. The hand-cut fries were wonderful, and their unique range of sauces really enhanced the flavor of the meat. My favorite was the apple-based sauce--definitely a great pairing with the pork. We actually went back for the deep fried Oreos after walking around the area for awhile. OhYUM! I was disappointed that I didn't get to try their Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese (didn't notice it until after I had my food). I'm also a bit sad that they are closing (as most of the 'boardwalk' places are) after Labor Day. See ya next year!

GREAT BBQ served quickly. On the pier at Weirs Beach. It was a little hard to find from the street, but look for the restaurant over the water called Anthony's, park and walk down the pier towards Anthony's and you'll find Angry Hog bbq on the left. Great location overlooking the water. We're from TX and are picky about our bbq. We were a little hesitant to see that he had given his bbq a "New England twist" (how could that be a good thing?!) when we found it on Yelp, but decided to try it anyway. We were so glad we did! The brisket is tender with a good bark from low and slow smoking. He has 4 original bbq sauces that he makes himself, and one of our favorites was a maple syrup infused one- it was a wonderful addition- (and thus the New England twist)- who knew?! And the fries and beans and cornbread are all really good as well. The atmosphere is not like the "biker bar" another reviewer suggested, (though bikers love good bbq too!) but it is like a bbq place should be- rustic, and cool. He plays good music and is a great guy. We were happy to give him our business and recommend him to anyone looking for excellent bbq on Lake Winnipesauki. And Joe- because you photobombed us, I'm posting that picture to Yelp. Good one!

Great BBQ. We ate the tri tip, pulled pork, smoked chicken sandwich and que-bano samdwich. All were great. The onion rings we ordered alongside were especially good.
