There was a 30 min wait but we were seated in about 20min, so had time to look around some shops. The food did not disappoint! We ordered all four tacos, our favorites were the carnitas and cauliflower, so much flavor! The shrimp and steak tacos were good as well, big little shrimps cooked well and the steak was tender and not dry. We also had the lobster nacho special with blue corn tortilla chips. You know how some chips are left with no toppings on a nacho plate? Well these were FULLY LOADED! And even though they had sat on the table for a while the blue corn tortillas had not gotten soggy, they were a little wet but still had a crunch. Drinks were good and service was attentive and enthusiastic. The restaurant was closing early so we didn't get to choose from the full dessert menu but we were still able to get churros, they were sweet and crunchy, served with chocolate sauce.
Vegetarian options: The cauliflower tacos were better than the non vegetarian options

Came upon this place while walking from our motel (half moon motel). Service was EXCELLENT. They were kind, polite with great energies and vibes. They have a small menu for food and I would consider myself a snob :) and I thought it was delicious!! Highly recommend to relax for a drink and relax enjoy and easy meal / snack.

Really nice outdoors seating. Beer was cold and staff was friendly.
Came here with my wife & 11 month old for lunch and had a great time! Server/bartender was very accommodating & attentive, the vibes were great, and the food was tasty. Taco portions were big too!

Wow was it great! Stopped in for few drinks and got some dips. Sweet corn dip and guacamole were fresh and tasty. The chunks of guacamole with the blue corn chips was awesome. The corn dip with potato chips was addictive. Both had lots of fresh ingredients with layers of flavor. Wish we had more appetite to try other food.Service was fast and very friendly. Had fun sitting outside with giant tables and umbrellas.Glad we went, try it and you will be glad too!

After wandering the streets of Laconia during bike week, we found The Salida below the Marketplace Building at the top of the hill - Great outdoor seating and excellent food. Hand Cut Fries with cotija cheese, jalapeno ranch and herbs were done perfectly, as well as the shrimp tacos - cooked to perfection and very tasty! Small but excellent craft beers available. Juliet was our server - everyone was friendly.

It was a welcomingly hot day during Memorial Day weekend when Andy and I stumbled upon the establishment. At first glance, I misread the sign to read "Bar Salad" and thought to myself that this isn't the place for me. On further inspection and a correct reading it appeared as though my fears were unwarranted and I took a seat at the bar of what I can confidently say is the best restaurant for food, drinks and vibes in 4th-best state in all of New England.Almost immediately after sitting down I was approached by a lovely bartender named Sam who quickly got us glasses of ice water, an underrated quality in a bartender. Andy was quickly distracted by a playful golden doodle named Scout when a tall but gentle fellow who introduced himself as the co-owner of the place and asked me how my day had been and what my favorite species of moth was. I found the second question surprising but nonetheless answered that I fancied the domestic silk moth, partially hesitant due to that clearly being the obvious answer. He reciprocated my enthusiasm for the adorable insect and asked if he could get me something to eat. I asked if they had onion rings and he explained "The number one rule of Bar Salida is no onion rings."Afraid that I offended my new friend I told him I respect a man with principles and even though I disagreed with his stance on the breaded vegetable I still wanted to support his business. It was then that the top-class bartender returned with my beer. I took a plentiful first sip and as I proceeded to rest my bottle, the co-owner — who at this point I had learned his name was Stephen — flung a coaster from the length of the bar towards me, perfectly landing it under my drink just as it was due to hit the bar top."The second rule is no water rings."The Miller Lite was delicious.5/5 try the spicy cauliflower tacos.
Food and drinks are fantastic! The oysters are always fresh and high quality. Taco are my favorite. Bartenders, servers and owners are top notch too.

Perfect location! Good place to hangout, have drinks and some food. It's right by all the action but tucked away enough that it's relaxing. Highly recommend!

The entrance has nobody greeting July,2 2022 8pm they allow you to seat yourself, sat at booth with my wife was dirty with glasses and food debris, waiter removed glasses and tossed menus on table in food debris and advised he will be back to take order, when waiter returned we asked that the table be cleaned and was told do you see how busy it is and you can go somewhere else.We will have never been treated like this any where.I would stay clear of place.sseseatyourself
