I'm deeply hurt for my children who's dad passed away in May 2024 and found out today that they were doing a celebration of life for him but never asked the family if that's was ok! I spend 31 yrs with their father and breaks my heart and that I myself nor his children or his family was invited. His so called girlfriend made it private. He still had a relationship with me and his children. I heard the conversation with Dawn the owner and she wasn't really nice to my daughters over the phone and hung up on them right before the service. God does see the true colors of people. He knows the truth. I'll pray for you all as I'm a true Christian and would never do that to a grieving family.. you didn't have the right to do that without his real family.. shame on you.

I would never recommend this place to anyone as it seems extremely shady. Our father passed May of 2024 and we we’re randomly told on Saturday that they were having a celebration of life for him now in almost February. We were not invited. I attempted to have a conversation with Dawn about this and was told it was “to be kept private” in order to help them grieve the loss of our father. In attendance will be our father’s girlfriend who also never communicated this to the family. While on the phone we were told that we are insensitive and being disrespectful to this celebration of life. Instead, Dawn decided to yell at my sister and I over the phone saying “this has nothing to do with you”. Bottom line - family should’ve been invited. They are using pictures of him from his life and singing music for him, yet Dawn also said “people are showing up and I have to greet them, if they even remember who he is since he hasn’t been here in so long”. As the family, this is extremely disrespectful and disheartening and we cannot understand how a place focused on helping people can be so disrespectful and selfish.

I am appreciative of this place; my ex has been homeless and heavily using heroin, I give hope everyday that he finds the help that he needs and I know there is many resources there to do so. Thank God.

An incredible resource for the ever growing homeless population, and a valuable resource for the outreach community as well. The need is great as the housing market has become unsustainable, and unreachable for even the majority of the average working class. What a great job this group of people have done for this area.

i went for an AA meeting but learned about this place by reading info on their website. they do a ton of great work with the homeless community, meals, showers, clothing, places to sleep. these are good people who practice what they preach, which seems to be increasingly more rare in this world.kudos to them.highly recommended.
The owners have a beautiful heart to serve the homeless of the community. What most city officials will not.

A wonderful Christian outreach for a needy segment of the local population. Clients can enjoy a delicious breakfast and a hearty lunch while resting, showering, or laundering their belongings. Volunteers provide a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and safe.
