This place is truly special! Not only does it have over 100 years of history as a business in New Hampshire, but it also offers some of the best ice cream and chocolate products in the United States. I travel frequently for work, and today I experienced one of the top two most incredible ice cream flavors I've ever had. All the ice cream is made on-site using their own creamery, allowing for complete control over the manufacturing process.

Expensive and poor quality. The chocolates have no flavor, they are just sickly sweet. The staff seem to be more interested in catering to tour buses and getting people in and out so service was rushed. Very disappointed!!!

This place has been on my list to go to for some time and I was thoroughly impressed. They have a wide range of candies they make in house. They make all their own ice creams with many delicious flavors. Their French toast ice cream was just to die for. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth or looking for some amazing ice cream.

After Covid this place had gone downhill. The ice cream was very mediocre and I felt they were living on the novelty of the ice cream bar. My wife and I crossed them off of our list of places to go.
However we gave them a try again this year and they have completely turned it around. They now have a lot of cool interesting flavors and seem much more focused on making good ice cream. I personally had the best blueberry ice cream and my wife also had some great flavors. They definitely stepped up their ice cream game and are now the best in the area IMO.
Also the gift shop is quite good and the chocolates look great. I am glad we gave them another shot.

I hadn't been there for decades! Still warm, welcoming and cozy. Ice cream is still amazing! (Try the pickle - I'm serious.) Lots of candies and beautiful souvenirs.

Average ice cream shop. The kids asked for mint and it was ok, my wife went for the sundae and it was also ok (average), however the pistachio was awful, could not eat it.
