Chef Allen was amazing to work with for our wedding. We had a small cutting cake and cupcakes for our guests. Everything was delicious! The cake and cupcakes were fluffy and flavorful! Our guests were raving about all of it! So many flavors to choose from and so many gluten free options which was VERY important to us. Highly recommended

Chef Allen made this amazing pacman cake and all the cupcakes for my 50th bday. We used both to make a replica of the pacman board and it came out awesome! Guests raved about how delicious it was. This is the 3rd event we have had cake from ooo la la and we are always impressed with the beauty, creativity and most importantly, the taste of her creations. I ordered a 70th birthday cake marble cake with sweet orange zest. The cake was delicious and everyone had seconds! I left it up to the Chef to decorate it the way she wanted to since I felt she was the expert and she would do a great job. Well she overdid herself! It was decorated like I never saw a cake before. Gold leafing with chocolate shavings. This was the first time ordering from Ooo La La and it won't be the last. The chefs choices on flavors and decorating is beyond any bakery I have dealt with before and coming from N.Y. with so many bakeries to choose from, this bakery surpasses them. I would order every special cake again from here.

We should have tasted our cake prior to ordering it, but this company came highly recommended and the reviews are great so we ordered our cutting cake for our wedding without doing a tasting. We ordered the lemon heaven. The cake looked great, but tasted terrible. When my husband fed me my first bite it felt like he put a whole stick of butter in my mouth. We took the cake home (we did not dare serve it to anyone) and tried it again but unfortunately it was inedible…it’s still in my freezer and I was hoping to eat a piece on our one year anniversary per tradition, but I will probably end up throwing it away. Definitely do a tasting before you commit and avoid the buttercream, it was wretched.

Complete Disappointment! Horrible Desserts and RUDE Chef Allen!I ordered a cake and 4 different flavors of cupcakes, each with a different flavored frosting, too. The ordering process went well. The lady (not Chef Allen) who took the order was helpful and polite.And, now here’s where the positive experience fell apart. I was early for pickup and Chef Allen was very rude to me about this. She said my order wasn’t ready yet. She continued to be bad-mannered and then started quoting the bible. Why? That made no sense, and she certainly wasn’t acting ‘Christian’. I remained polite and said it was not a problem for me to return in ~45 minutes, which I did.The frosting on all items was soooo sweet, that it was trashed by literally everyone at the event, including the children. The frosting was supposed be different flavors. All frosting flavors, but one, were the same. The red velvet cake was not red velvet cake. It was a very dry yellow cake with red food dye. There were supposed to be some sprinkles to decorate the cupcakes, but they were all plain. Save yourself from all the frustration & practically non-edible desserts and do NOT go to Ooo La La Creative Cakes in Laconia!! There are plenty of other local places that I will try instead for my next event.

We picked Ooo La La for our wedding cake and we instantly knew we picked the right place when we walked in for our consultation. Chef Allen is absolutely wonderful to work with. We wanted something unique and special to us, a white Birch tree design with a heart that had our initials in it, and it came out absolutely STUNNING. Months later, we are still getting comments from our family and friends about how incredible the cake not only looked, but tasted! I would definitely work with Ooo La La in the future.

Most others just have good icing ..these are delicious cake too ! Creamy delicious frosting and surprise in the middle makes these just outstanding.
