A few months ago, our group of friends, Scott and I decided to try the new brunch buffet in town. We arrived at opening time, but unfortunately, they weren’t fully set up yet. Basic breakfast staples like eggs were missing, and we were surprised to see a Keurig being used for coffee in a restaurant setting. While the food available was decent, it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Wanting to give them another chance, we decided to visit again today. Arriving again at 10:00 AM, their opening time, we hoped for a better experience. However, it was a similar situation. They were not ready, and although they had scrambled eggs this time, the selection was still lacking. The salad was served without dressing, the main dishes were bland, and the sausage gravy had clumps of flour in it.

Moreover, the coffee was undrinkable, leaving us puzzled about what they were using. As we were preparing to leave, their Wi-Fi went down, preventing them from running our bill. Thankfully, we had cash, but the table next to us was stuck, as they didn’t have enough cash and needed to use their credit card.

As food enthusiasts who enjoy cooking and dining out, we rarely leave poor reviews. We understand that new restaurants can have growing pains, but consistency is key. We hope the restaurant can address these issues and improve the overall experience for future diners.

Not impressed. Not a fully stocked bar. Out of food items. Just disappointed all around. Staff was friendly & liked the big bar & games. But lacking the things needed to keep me there sadly. Too many other options & the start of Holiday week?! Was so hopeful.

I was there a couple of time once during last year's motorcycle week and again now. Amazing food and the service was top notch. Definitely can't wait for bike week again. We need to support these local places especially during bike week.

No eggs, no sausage, no potatoes. They had wrapped soggy greasy fried egg sandwiches with sausage patty. Bacon layed in grease in pan. Short staff couldn't get coffee until end of meal. Difficult for us to walk. Had to walk around looking for forks found some in a bucket. Found a waitress to get check she asked how everything was we said the food was terrible and couldn't get even cup of coffee with our meal. She apologized said waitress new and busy. If she just left it at the apology would have been fine. But she embarrassed us in front of everyone. When she said they're busy and we only saw 2 tables behind us seemed like 2 girls could handle that. She then said well there's a table of 8 in back. She had zero concern that 2 handicap women had a bad experience. She laughed got her other waitress and then they both laughed. Very embarrassing. We were so looking forward to going here. I hope Paugus Bay Pub hires more staff. Management needs to know if your staff is nasty to customers they're not coming back. That's money out of your company profit.

I don't leave bad reviews but this one was so unbelievably terrible. The food was beyond disgusting. Went to the brunch buffet didn't eat at all everything took a bite of was terrible. Alot of processed food. The service was the worst I've ever seen in my life. No drinks about half way in had to get up to ask for a coffee then had to get up go back to ask for creamer. Finally flagged a different waitress down to ask for the check so we could just leave. She asked how everything was & all we said was terrible the food was awful the service was awful we had to get up to get our own drinks. She said I'm so sorry, I said ty. I was ok with the acknowledgement of what happened. BUT she then proceeded to out right argue that they were busy. I said no we were the only people there she continued to argue that she watched us pull into the parking lot outright lied was very nasty trying to prove her point. All I said at that point was you should've just stopped at the apology everything was fine. Even after that she continued to point her fingers out the window & around the room nastily arguing. Again I said you should've just stopped at the apology. That's all I said the entire time. She then put a huge nasty smirk on her face yelled HAVE A NICE DAY! I said nothing at all back. I turned around & she was across the room with the other waitresses staring & laughing at us. I said you think this is funny? So they all proceeded to laugh, smirk, & sarcastically yell HAVE A NICE DAY! I guess ALL the waitresses who work there think laughing at 2 handicapped people who spent their money didn't eat had a terrible experience & said hardly anything about it is funny. If you had a great experience opposite of us that's great but for us personally this is our review.

Had the Sunday brunch buffet and it was terrific. Rotating food offerings and it was priced well at $20. Servers were friendly and very attentive.

The place is very nice and clean looking inside. We didn't get food, but a few drinks at the bar. I'm 5'4"and the bar was too high for me. I had to lift my arm to shoulder height to pick up my drink, making it uncomfortable for me. The bar's design is beautiful, though! They need to fix their wifi. The jukebox is always offline (our third time there), and the only music comes from a karaoke machine, so you hear one artist's album over and over. Fix these things, as well as the broken down appearance outside, and it'll be a much nicer place to visit.

Holy smokes! The Buffalo chicken fingers are gonna live rent-free in my head for a while. This place was recommended to me on those alone and I was not disappointed. They're so good we had to order some more to go. Now I'm gonna have to wait until they open tomorrow before I can order more. Maybe they should stay open 24 hours a day to solve this problem.

8pm on a Saturday I definitely expected more then 4 people in the place... as a bartender I would never blame them for bad food but the attitude when you say there is an issue is 100% on the bartender! The shrimp scampi had sooooo much lemon that no matter how much pepper or cheese I added it did not even start to cover it.... when I told the bartender she came back with such an attitude that it completely made me not ever wanna go back there. No offer to fix it or replace it just took it and gave me the check. Never once was I rude and even laughed when I told her about the food not being good.
