The General Gau's chicken was very flavorful and was spicy enough for me. However, the pork fried rice was missing some flavor and salt to it. I ordered for pick up and the lady I dealt with was nice and personable.
7-7-2024 The Google write up states that this is a sit down restaurant, when we drove by the marquee sign stated it was take out only. Called them to verify that there is NO TABLE SERVICE but you can order food at the bar. So someone should update their Google presence and take down the "reserve a table" function amongst other things.
If you're local to the Lakes Region, or you're a regular visitor, then you probably know that we've lost a few Chinese restaurants and the ones left are lacking or sub-par. I've traveled so I'm pretty experienced in Asian cuisine. My family and I had visited the Shang Hai Restaurant (SHR) before, had the buffet and were considerably disappointed.
