They have consistently always had great food over the years. I have been coming since I was a kid and I have brought my kids. Their lobster rolls and milkshakes are always spot on. It is a must stop for me and my daughter when we are around Lake Winnipesaukee! We usually get it to go and park down by the lake for the views. If you're a fan of great lobster rolls, the Tamarack is a must.

Solid NH roadside takeout. Lots of tables outside, food is always made fresh so service can take some time. It's worth the wait. Indoor seating in a second building out back.Kid-friendliness: It's not unfriendly, but it's right on a busy road/intersection. Keep a close eye on wandering kids. Keep your kids by your side and you're fine.

Says it’s open until 5, arrived at 4:30 and drove some distance to come and was told they were already closed by a disgruntled employee because they ran out of clams and lobster. Even had tried to call ahead of our arrival and no one answered. Should update their open hours if they’re not going to appropriately order inventory.

We visited this restaurant on 10/07/23. I ordered the whole belly clam dinner for $27. We picked it up at the window and took it down to the beach to eat. When I opened it up I cannot say how disappointed I was in what I saw. The portion was very small and when I ate it, there was only one whole belly clam in the whole order. The rest were clam strips. When one orders a a whole belly clam dinner, that's what you should expect. Not likely to return to this place again.

I ordered chili, fries, and a bacon double cheeseburger. The chili was pretty good, the fries were even better, and the burger was large and juicy. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.9.

Cute little place, we went twice. Clam baskets and foot long chili dogs! Great food and service. You can sit at picnic tables, your car, or inside seating area out back. We will definitely be back on our next vacation.

Try to call in an order at 5:45 and they would not take it even though they closed at seven. They said they were closing early because they felt like it even said the fryer was turned off. At 6:15 the same evening my son drives by and there’s a line and they’re still taking orders. Very disappointed I’ve been going there for over 20 years. New ownership is terrible. Would give them zero stars if I could
