I had eaten at flip side 2 times in recent weeks and really enjoyed the food with one exception..the coffee ..it was the worst I have ever had. I did mention this to Willow our waitress and she commented that some customers love it or hate it..and she gave me an alternative drink instead. The most recent visit was today 10/16/24. We walked in and we're not acknowledged at all. We seated ourselves in a booth and a waitress came to the table to inform me that no outside drinks were allowed. I was trying to tell her that I had been here a few times and did not care for the coffee..she completely ignored me and went on to another table. I fully understand that it's not polite to bring outside food or drinks in a restaurant but I think it's important to listen to customers feedback. This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth..almost as bad as the coffee.

Food was very bland and tasted and looked unappetizing and frozen. I waited about 50 minutes til I finally ate and even longer to pay. The atmosphere was very uncomfortable, pretty empty with nothing nice to look at and no comfort setting set in place. The wait staff was even worse, being unhappy and unenthusiastic. Don’t come here.

When I walked in with my group of friends, we all got looked at like we walked into a western saloon, I barely think we looked like hoodlums. and their waiting party were middle aged drug addicts or 16 year old school kids. Food was probably freezer burnt and the whole building is like a open space like it used to be a family dollar or something

My husband declared this the best omelet he has ever had. Definitely everything was fresh. The waitress was delightful. If we lived closer this would be our go to breakfast place.

We have been to the Flip Side on 2 breakfast stops to date. Both times have been a WIN. Huge portions, great taste, reasonable pricing and excellent staff. We highly recommend trying it out. It is nice to have another great local place to enjoy and rely on for consistency.

Went with a pretty decent sized group. 8people. First time of many for us. The food was absolutely amazing, I got one of the bowls. Service was phenomenal, we had Celia. Really love what they did with the place. Will be back. If you haven’t stopped in, definitely give it a try!!

Really lovely place. Delicious and wholesome food, friendly waitstaff. It reminds us of our family-owned place back home in Indiana.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options available. The waitress even asked if I have an allergy or a preference; meaning that if I had an allergy she would take extra precaution. That’s kind!
Went here on vacation and the place was great! The waitress was great very personable. The food was great! Lots of food for breakfast so we were filled up! Will come back and I hope the locals support it!

The food was fantastic. The best place I’ve eaten for breakfast so far in the Laconia area… The service was great. I can’t say anything bad about this place. Yeah the decor was minimal… But you know what who cares.. When the food was as good as it was and served with a smile, can’t ask for better than that keep up the good work!!!!

Wow great food, price, and finally a place that can handle families with kids. Whether you have a large party (we had 15) or a small group there’s enough room to not feel like you’re on top of each other. Owner was super nice and welcoming. If you have Gluten allergies like some of my group, they can do almost anything gluten free which came in handy. A gem surrounded by tourist places. They also have a few alcoholic drinks for breakfast :-)
