I don’t know how this places gets rave reviews. We visited this past Saturday morning and was not at all impressed. I ordered a pumpkin muffin and received a blueberry. It was difficult to tell them apart in the case (or maybe they were all out of pumpkin?) so I can understand the error. I like both so ate it anyway, and it was good but nothing to write home about. The iced pumpkin spice chai latte was devoid of pumpkin flavor - just tasted like a regular iced latte. Again, good but nothing special. My son said the Kolache was good and my daughter said the chocolate croissant was very average. But the bulk of the 2-star review centers on the hot matcha latte - it was downright NASTY. She’s had matcha numerous times, and this was undrinkable. I tried a sip and it tasted like matcha powder and water, with no improvement no matter how much you stirred it. Just powdery grit suspended in water. Some friends went the following morning (reluctantly, based on our review, but The Granite Grind was closed across the street) and reported the same with the hot cocoa - Undrinkable powder and water. I don’t know who is making beverages on the weekend, but they need a serious retraining. I try to support local businesses like this, but if I wanted a below average experience my money would have been better spent at Dunkins.

Great local bakery in Lancaster with a large selection of baked goods. Also specializing in Polish baked goods, kolaches, pierogi and coffee. Can't say enough about the selection and friendly staff

Saw the sign advertising pierogi night on Wednesdays. Did not disappoint!! They offered 3 different flavors and an assortment of toppings. The indoor seating area is very cozy. Feels like you're sitting in your living room! I also bought a blueberry pie...off the chart yummy! Im going back to buy some frozen pierogi!

On our way to Pittsburgh, NH, we stopped at Polish Princess Bakery after hearing rave reviews—and they were spot on! The blueberry pie was unlike anything I've ever tasted—truly the best I've had. With an incredible selection of pastries and excellent service from George, who ensured we got our pie, this bakery is a must-visit. If you're traveling through town, make sure to stop by for delicious food and top-notch service.

Possibly the best egg sandwich on a fresh croissant I’ve ever had? And I’ve lived in New York for almost 20 years.

took very long for food to come out. Like way too long for a cream cheese bagel, almost 10 minutes at this point this is annoying. Also there were more staff than customers at the time.

Although it’s set in a small town, this place is a gem. The pastries are absolutely delicious, and the coffee is great too. The bread looks fresh and tempting. The bakery has a charming Polish aesthetic, with artwork and paintings inspired by Polish culture. There’s also a cozy seating area where I ended up chatting with some strangers about dogs haha. The staff were super friendly and even gave us free butter for our dog!
