I've never been a fan of Applebee's but my son wanted to go for his 21st birthday, so that's what we did! It is glorified fast food, oversalted always, and the salads have just as many calories as the burgers. I was there a week ago and struggle to remember what I ate - oh right, one of the only healthy items on the menu - salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes (I think?). I scarfed it down because I was so hungry by the time it finally arrived. Everyone else got chicken sandwiches with fries and mostly enjoyed it. The saving grace was the cocktails, I think, and I had two of the special drinks for St. Patrick's Day. The atmosphere was very Applebee's-esque... they are all the same: big, open, loud and overstimulatingly chaotic. Our server was honestly terrible. She didn't smile, complained about her injured wrist, and disappeared several times for an extended amount of time. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks, and our appetizers came out BEFORE our drinks! We were eating dry-arse chips and pretzel bites with NO DRINK. I told her it was my son's 21st birthday and she heard me and carded him for his drink order... but never did anything special for him - I always thought they sang happy birthday at Applebee's!? What a disappointment.

Shirlene, our waitress, was fantastic! The food was warm and tasty. The servings are huge so come hungry. Applebee's is a fun place to chill and order a quick meal.

Usually a phenomenal restaurant, the past time we went was awful. Although understaffed, to which I understand, several tables that came in AFTER us were taken care of before we were. We got our drinks, then waited over a hour before getting any type of food order placed while other people's orders were taken. No compensation of any kind yet forgot about.

I order her regularly for curbside. We decided that we would go have lunch while we were out Christmas shopping. I was very surprised that we had to wait about 30 minutes and it wasn't busy enough for such a wait. Know the time of year decided to just over look it. When we finally got seated the wait was nice and jumped us immediately for our drink order which took us aback since we hadn't even looked at menu. By the time she came back with drink within a minute of us ording them she asked what we wanted to eat and we informed her we weren't ready. When we were ready we got our order put in. As we sat there I started to notice that there was no logical reason for there to be any kind of wait. I watch 2 people cleaning and clearing tables together. I also watched the front cleaning tables as well. More people were walking around or wiping a table then serving customers. When the waiter did it's was hurried and then she was gone. I have been a waitress and it's not a rush job it takes finesse and being customer oriented.Luckily once our food came out and it was good but the service was unfortunate. I have always like the food and have had great inside service in the past but whoever they have hired just don't seem to care about customers as much as taking care of them quickly to go socialize.

4 out of 5 meals cooked wrong. Worsted experience ever. Then claims to comp meals yet charged us anyways and we never even got the reforestation so no food but paid for it and wasted 3 hrs on Xmas eve eve so glad you made us all look foolish for our guests.cant believe we even paid a penny .I'll be reaching out to corperate for sure
