Around two years ago, me, my brother, and my dad all went on a road trip to Vermont to see the eclipse. After seeing the sky go dark, and after witnessing a once in a lifetime event, at the end of the day, the most amazing experience was getting to eat the otherworldly donuts at Muriel’s. I can not stress enough to you all, that these are the best donuts you will ever have, and might very well be the best food of all time. Whoever gave these less than 5 stars, I will never understand...
These may not be the best doughnuts out there but they are fantastic for the price. We got one of each of the varieties (they have 6). The plan ring and the plain bar are the same donut in different shapes, same for the sugars, and all four are ones that can be passed on. The two you should try are the jelly and the cinnamon sugar, these two are quite tasty for different reasons. Btw you will need a glass of milk to accompany any of these bad boys.
What can you say? If you are age 55 plus then you probably remember donuts before Dunkin killed off the small shops. These are crunchy, flavorful and WARM when you buy them! Simply the best!
