I've been going to salt hill with my four kids weekly since they were born, and before that, since they opened. To say the food and service has gone down hill is an understatement. The regular menu is so sparse- a $19 sweet potato entree! The quality of the meat is fatty and greasy- don't order the Rueben. The menu is constantly getting smaller and what's left is more costly. St. Patty's Day was the last straw. Horrible customer service. Disorganized and inconsistent service. Hostess is too inexperienced to handle this crowd. A lot of waitstaff is also too inexperienced. Between the food and the service, this place is going downhill fast.

We waited 1 hour for 2 sandwich’s. When inquiring about are food we were told what can I do it is sitting in the window. Two tables who ordered after us got their food before us. Waiter was very very rude and threw a to go box on the table. There was no meat in one sandwich and the other one was raw. When we asked for the manager she asked if we wanted more food which we didn’t and then took off half of the price for the sandwiches. No apology about her waitress behavior do not go here

Stopped in on a weekday and the pub was bumping! So many families were there and people of all ages. Service was fantastic and the food was hearty and filling. We ordered wings, fish and chips and Guinness Stew. The fish was crispy and not greasy, well seasoned and reminiscent of the fish and chips I have had in Ireland. And the Guinness stew had great flavor. My only wish is that there was more beef. All in all, great spot for a family dinner. Only about 15 mins away from Dartmouth College if you're looking for dinner in the area.
