Yama (Young’s Restaurant) is a popular spot known for its authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the kimchi jjigae stew and fried Mandu, which are especially satisfying after a day of skiing. The menu features favorites like the Hanover roll and Lebanon roll, along with flavorful sushi with Unagi. Customers also enjoy the tofu pad thai, hot and sour soup, and the Philly roll, as well as lunch options like Yaki Soba noodles, sesame broccoli, and spicy bean sprouts. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed, making it a good choice for a quick meal or takeout. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and provides fast, courteous service. Food is served in real dishes and bowls, not plastic containers, and takeout remains popular for eating on the go or at a picnic table. Despite the limited dine-in options, the combination of tasty food and friendly service makes Yama a favorite in the Upper Valley and possibly all of New England.
