Delicious food and friendly service. I called in a takeout order and had the tofu pad thai, hot and sour soup, and a philly roll. Hope to be back again next time I'm in the area.

Excellent food!! I'm shocked. When I arrived and saw the location, I was very skeptical, but this place lived up to the hype. I am so happy I gave it a shot and I will certainly be back.

My first visit. Subpar sushi. Tuna did not seem at all fresh. The salmon was not much better. The rice base for the fish was small and too compressed. I was disappointed.

Great food and friendly service, but order takeout if you want a fancy place to sit.

Spectacular Korean homecooking in no frills location. We had the kimchi jjigae stew which hit the spot perfectly after skiing. The fried Mandu were also excellent - thin, crispy coating. The people that run it are super kind.

I heard this place before covid was AWESOME. My boyfriend and I came here today and he told me it was nothing like it was today. The food item he loves would always be super hot and delicious when he received it. Today, Ice cold. I tried it also and was not a fan. I got their udon soup with beef. Beef was delicious but there was probably 4 pieces of beef & that was the only good thing about the soup. Sushi was okay. The dartmouth roll was better than the volcano. Volcano was a $15 roll and not worth it imo. Volcano was also super salty and was over it after my second bite. Wouldn't recommend. the employees were super nice. It's not a typical restaurant - it's order then sit down type of style. Which I guess was not like that before covid & they just haven't gone back to the norm

Went back today for the first time in ages and I'm glad I did. Yes, a lot has changed since they reopened, but you can tell this familiy is doing their very best to keep serving the upper valley. As of 1.13.24 there are only cold drinks in the cooler (I should have asked if there was a byob situation). You place your order at the cash register, everything is brought to your table, and then you pay before you leave. Not full table service, but nothing wrong with that. (the website is still a little unclear with some instructions stating take-out only - that is not the case!)I had a chef's choice sushi/sashimi plate and dukboki. The sushi didn't seem as fresh or flavorful as I recall, but still good enough. The dukboki though...I will be dreaming of that. So good - perfect chewyness, actually spicy, but not so overpowering that you can't taste the flavors of the sauce. Will definitely be ordering that again. The real reason to eat here is to support a family owned restaurant that offers good food you really can't get anywhere else in the region. They really do treat everyone who walks in like family, they are so so lovely and they are doing everything they can to continue serving the area.

This place has changed, and not for the better. :-(There is almost no more dine in tables. They no longer serve the bonchon, which was always a great mix of deliciousness. I hope it returns. The restaurant seems to be in transition from change of ownership. You order at a little table and they bring the food to you. They don't even serve hot tea anymore! I'd love to hear from the new owner if these changes are permanent.

This place was a great pit stop, and not a big detour from the highway. Lots of fresh vegetables, the tofu was delicious, and they make a homemade teriyaki sauce which is truly lovely! The portion sizes are quite large and service was quick!Vegetarian options: They were kind enough to call out all the vege options and make recommendations. The main dish we got had a very large quantity of fresh veggies which we loved!

Great place! I use to visit pre-COVID and now they are back open with limited dine in service (you order at the cashier station and they will bring out food to your table). All of their food is just as good as I'd remember and the only place you can Korean cuisine for miles. The owners and front person are super nice. The place was clean and the proportions (and flavor) are worth the price. They also take allergies seriously which I appreciated! If you like Korean food and sushi you shouldn't be disappointed. Just remember to get some Banchan (side vegetables) as they no longer serve all the side dishes with your meal since COVID so you have to specify.Vegetarian options: As long as you aren't vegan, there is a large assortment of vegetarian and pescatarian dishes here.Dietary restrictions: They are very open about what dishes have certain ingredients and take allergies seriously. I have an airborne seafood allergy (hot seafood steam) and an egg white allergy which wasn't a problem. They even double checked with me if the egg wash on their mandu would be a problem.Parking: The parking lot is tucked in beside the library. Extra free parking is available on the main street.
