All of the bad reviews are 100% true. The woman who runs the restaurant is genuinely terrible, but that’s what makes it amazing. My family comes to this restaurant every time we are in Woodstock just to experience the horrible service, but amazing food. It’s very entertaining and has become a good tradition. I would not recommend stopping here for a quick meal if you’re hungry, because there is a good chance your food could take hours. Overall, I love Fresolone’s and hope it stays around for a long time.

Imagine running place by yourself all your life? Not a single day offNot a single day to take care of yourself but feeding everyoneOf course person gets angry, misunderstood and judgedBut she is just sweet old grandma who is ready to retireAnd food was amazingWait was long since she is by herself and there were 3 people waiting before me.But that didn’t remove from the fun of the experience and atmosphereTake care of your older friends, sometimes all they need is someone to talk to.

The lady is very rude. She is also the owner and shouldn’t be allowed to deal with the public! We stopped by on our snowmobiles and decided to share a chicken parm sub, since we weren’t that hungry. I asked her how big the sub was. She told me look over there at that table that’s how big they are. The person had eaten most of it. She then said I’ve never seen two grown men split a sandwich. You should order two. We stuck with ordering one, so she told me she would make it extra small so we couldn’t split it. We split it anyway, it had two little chicken tenders in it a little bit of sauce and some mozzarella cheese on the top. It was terrible. I asked her what she had for soda and she said it’s over in the case pick what you want. Needless to say we will never be back there again , if I could give it a zero stars I would. there was a family of five there that split a large pizza. After they saw what we were going through, they said they went through the same thing and it took an hour to get their pizza. Needless to say, the plan to never go there again either. We couldn’t pay by credit card because she said her machine was broken. I think she just wanted to deal in cash when I got the bill she had charged us $20 for a chicken parm sandwich. I went up to explain to her that she had overcharged us and she argued with me that she didn’t. Finally she looked at some scratching she had on a piece of paper and said oh yes, I did charge you for two sandwiches and you only got one and gave me my money back for the one. Don’t go here.

Place is in a dead zone so I couldn’t read the reviews prior to my visit!!!!!owner is a terrible lady who was soooo rude i cant believe how bad my visit was never again!! When we complained about our food she took out plate and said if u dont want to eat dont eat it!!!!!! Even took the garlic bread off the table which was the only thing not burnt!!! Which would have been fine if she brought out an edible meal but nope she did not and she wouldnt refund our money?? please find another place!!! The only reason she is in business is cause she preys off unsuspecting tourists that have no clue!!!!

I tried to stop here for lunch one weekday after a morning out with my dog, Bruno. We began to walk through the door and were greeted by an older woman, who I perceived to be the owner, who yelled the following verbatim: "if your disgusting dog puts one more paw through that door, I'm going to turn him into pupperoni and put him on one of these subs." Bewildered and dumbfounded with what I just heard, I vacated the premises for the safety of my pet.

I went in with my husband and mother-in-law. She ordered the chicken parm sub, which she loved and my husband ordered the cheese steak sub, which he thought was good. I didn't order anything because I was having a terrible gastritis flare-up, but she felt so bad that she offered me free lasagna (which I politely declined) then offered me a creamsicle (which I happily accepted). She was so sweet and great to talk to.

My husband and I, agaisnt all the negative reviews, went here Sunday. We absolutely love Barbara!!! She is great, we stayed, ate and talked with her for 2 hours. The pizza was absolutely delicious. She is a sweet lady to talk to. Not sure what people are complaining about, maybe you all need to have some patience! She is the only person in there, she does it all. We will absolutely being going back their next year!!!! Great food and a great time!!

It was a slow week for the Scottish games. Where were all the people? That being said, it's an experience, not just a restaurant.Phone orders. Ugh. She doesn't take phone orders. Just the other night, she had an order for five cheese pizzas. Five. And she had to put everyone else off until she got those done. Did they pick them up? No. No pickup, and what do you do with five cheese pizzas? You tell me, what? These people order, and never pick up, so you can come in, order like anyone else, and the food will be ready after it's cooked. Otherwise, they don't take phone orders.Phone orders take away from the customers out front. These people. You know, she got this place off a loan from her brother. She made payments, every month, and you know what he was doing? Interest. He got interest. Every month. She didn't find out until he was dead. (Crosses self). Rest his soul. But seriously, he was charging interest. To his family. Doesn't family mean anything? It used to. Now she owns it completely, has since 2001. No more blood money. And to think, she never knew until he died. What kind of person does that? To his sister? Interest schminterest. It's just uncalled for.Okay, I know it says, "pasta" on the sign. She doesn't do pasta. There's no pasta there. If you want pasta, go somewhere else. If you want food, look at the menu. Pasta takes too long, and she can't be helping other people. Just like these phone orders. Just come in and order. You order, she makes the food. It's how you do things. All of this over the phone stuff These days...Anywho, if you're looking for more than just a fast bite to eat. If you're looking for an experience. If you want to wait a bit for food or service, but then be given a rich cornucopia of lore, suspicion, and flat out grateful thanks for lifting her industrial mixing bowl (the doctors have her a plastic shoulder, and she can't lift it now), head here. She's deaf, caring, and doing her best. The food was delicious, and her stories were more than worth the price of lunch.Would recommend going at a quiet time. She takes each order very seriously, and orders are handled as the previous order is fulfilled. You want to go somewhere else? Go for it. Good luck finding better food.Vegetarian options: What's a veggie pizza? Do you want tomatoes? Onions? Be specific.

The lady is Racist and she automatically assumed I was an illegal just because I am Hispanic.. According to her my Accent sounded weird because I am a 5th Generation Texan... I told her just because I have brown skin don't mean I'm from Mexico lady..I walked out and didn't give her any business..

Atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. After a long afternoon of hiking we wanted a quick meal before the drive back and this place did not disappoint. The woman running the restaurant (didn’t catch her name and that’s on me) was very friendly and personable. $55 for four subs, four drinks and nice seats above the river. Best meatballs i’ve had in years and ample parking. I’d eat there again.

NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I came in already having read reviews, and very open to perhaps unique or eccentric older owner. But to my true shock she, and I am not exaggerating, KICKED ME OUT for the offense of requesting vegetables on my sub.For a bit more color, as I made this simple request, a man sitting at a table “waved me off” — letting me know that this was not ok. After she declined to take my order and went in back, and I chatted with him “wow this is real?”, she ordered me to leave for “talking about her”.With pure kindness, I am in a rush to get my kids food as the Whales Tale water park across the street just closed the restaurant. There is no room in my heart for randomly refusing service.I wish this lady well, but no longer allowed to refuse food to families — it’s not right.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!! If I could give this place minus 5 stats I would!!!! I came in with my family to get something to est. there was no one at the counter. We stood & waited. There were two very nice ladies /customers who told us to ring the bell very loud bc she is hard of hearing. We rang several times and nobody came to the counter. Finally another gentleman came in & rang the bell again. WELL the owner FINALLY came from the back & YELLED at us for “HARRASSING” her. ??!!!! She told us there are PLENTY of other places we can go to. I was appalled at how she can treat customers this way. We gave her our opinion and walked out. This lady is a psycho should shut down this place if she thinks customers wanting service is harassment smh. Lady you need to go get yourself a psychiatric evaluation bc you prob need some meds!! .
