I have been here for two nights and 3 day. I liked the pool, have more fun at game room. Easy access road to the city center. Staff is friendly and very attentive, cares about customers. Clean room, Good choice for vacations, enthusiastic staff.

This place is simply amazing they have just finished a complete makeover in June and I can't say enough good stuff about this place. They serve a hot breakfast consisting of eggs, meat, and potatoes along with all the other regular breakfast items including a waffle maker the thing that impressed me the most was they had boxes of plastic gloves for everyone to wear while in the food area. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and spacious along with a balcony that has a table and chairs, they are single entry units that you enter directly from the outside. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a nice place to stay along with the fact that they are pet friendly

I was really excited to try this place, we were staying at the hotel and we wanted to check out the restaurant attached. Quaint, nice atmosphere however the service and the food were terrible! The hostess was so drunk that she did not know how or where to seat people, she was leaning up against the wall every chance she got, also we saw her walk away from the bar with a bottle of vodka and never return with it! I ordered my meal and was brought completely something different and when I told the waitress that was not what I ordered she said “well this is what you ordered, so“ Excuse me? I complained to the owners and I finally got my steak tips that I ordered medium but they came both burnt and undercooked at the same time! Inside was bloody and raw and the outside was completely black, hard & charred. And to make it better the owner offered me her lunch… Really? I don’t want to eat something that was already somebody’s lunch. Thanks, no thanks.

Didn't expect much from a restaurant in the area because its hard to find something to eat late up there. The owners were great but the hostess was too drunk to seat us 30 minutes after open, and was heavily drinking from a bottle of titos the whole time we were there. The waitress insisted the order she gave us was ours, was very rude about it. Then swiftly took it away and gave it to the table next to us. I wish i ate their meal because the simple burger i ordered was so burned outside and rare on the inside i couldn't eat it. Waitress gave us her half eaten lunch as an im sorry. Would definitely recommend getting take out somewhere and taking it back to the resort instead of eating here.

The place is nice and clean. Mohammad from the front desk was very helpful .Advised as on things to do in the area. The room is big with very comfortable bass. Outside there is a nice pond with ducks. Breakfast was basic. We will come back in the future.

The reservation and check-in process was smooth. The rooms are very small an not very clean. There were cats onsite and smoke order in the room. Housekeeping did not service the room during our stay. I will not book here again.

We found this place on a whim as a friend was living down the street. We needed a family friendly room which allowed dogs. We made the reservation and said we will deal with it. We arrived early on check in day. Allowed to check in early. Great friendly greeting from the gentleman at the desk. We checked in to room 30. Brand new !! New floors. Fresh paint. Fridge was ice cold. Everything was clean and we were comfortable here. Our balcony could use some work but we could care less. We used the brand new outside furniture to sit out and relax. We heard some bad reviews about this but with the new owners they are changing this place for the better. The tavern will probably get a make over soon but the bartenders were friendly and also poured a good drink. Every employ we talked to was friendly and willing to help anyway they can. We will definitely be staying here again for future stays !!

My boyfriend and I were hiking the mountains and mainly camping in a tent when we decided to conclude our trip with a bed and a continental breakfast. When we pulled in, I wasn’t expecting the ritz, just a decent place to unwind from an active trip. I used to work in hospitality, I know the ins and the outs of the hotel industry. So to preface this, I already wasn’t expecting a whole lot and was willing to tolerate a few things. I’m not a high maintenance person at all. But what we walked into was absolutely disgraceful. We dropped our bags into the room, which seemed okay at first glance and then went to find a place to eat since we had been hiking all day and we were exhausted. I still kick myself for not checking out my surroundings a little better during check in, but when we returned back to the room from grabbing food is when I REALLY found out what kind of dump we were in. I heard a housekeeper from our balcony talk about her broken, abscessed and bloody tooth. To top it off, she was holding a bloody rag to her face WHILE she worked. The worst part? She was working in our section so she was the one who more than likely “cleaned” our room. Again, I worked in a hotel and I’ve never seen a more disgusting room in my life. I’m talking exposed wire, crumbs from other peoples food EVERYWHERE and visible, musty odor, human and animal hair in sheets, greasy smudged finger prints on every single appliance, sticky and unwashed floors, chunks of old, used soap lining the showerLike I said, I’m not high maintenance, I would have slept on top of the bed coverings if I had to… but after doing a full inspection I just felt like I was in a room that was previously used and never cleaned. Boyfriend went to the desk, complained, front desk agent was very quick to say “we can’t do anything but give you another room”…. Nobody wants to try round 2 after the presentation of the first room. That should have been an instant refund or discount, we SHOWED them the pictures, which I will include. Do not stay here!!! I repeat do not stay here!!! I have still not heard anything about a refund and I will not stop until one is made. This place is a board of health’s dream. The people leaving good reviews obviously don’t do thorough inspections of where they’re laying their head at night because based off of the negative ones, this is a very common issue with this place. Needless to say, dropped the keys back off at desk and made our 3 hr journey home that same day. Meaning I’d rather sleep in my car and drive home three hours than to stay in this kind of place. The CAMPGROUNDS we were staying at were cleaner than this place. Go to Indian head resort and pay the extra buck, friendly and clean. See for yourself.

My husband and I just returned from spending a few days at this motel. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and it was beautifully done. The bed was very comfortable , the room was room was clean and the grounds were beautiful. They had both an indoor and outdoor pool , sauna and hot tub. But we didn't use any of the indoor facilities. The restaurant on site had a continental breakfast with a lot of options. Dinner at the restaurant was not included but I it was delicious . I would definitely return on a future trip.

We stayed here last year and part of the property was being renovated at the time, the rooms were in need of updating in 2020 but Woodward's has everything you need to keep the kids entertained and we enjoyed our stay last year. I was very impressed upon returning this year, the rooms were updated and modern. The location is excellent, they offer a continental breakfast, indoor & outdoor pool, a quaint little duck pond, an area to grill and have a campfire, they have all new outdoor seating areas with sectionals and tables, rooms have a 3 piece bistro out in front of their door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning again with my family.

My fiancé and I love this place. It is recently refurbished (some areas still in progress) by someone with great taste— the rooms are lovely! The whole place is sparkling clean. The pool is nice, the pond is lovely, very pretty landscaping. Breakfast (included) overlooks the pond and has delicious make-your-own waffles, good coffee, bagels, cereal bar. Perfect for us and also for kids. Everybody who works here is friendly and helpful. You can tell the owners and people who work here really take pride in the place— it’s just great. We will be staying here as our base camp for adventures in the White Mountains from now on!

So I made a reservations there for this past Saturday night. It was my wife's birthday and I had alot plans for the evening and this was the only place in Lincoln, NH that took reservations. First we entered the front entrance but it was blocked because they had a private function in the main part of the restaurant that night. They told us we had to go around to the bar and order from the menu over there. We get to the bar and say we have reservations but we ended up getting seated at the private event. Now we're super confused. A waitress comes up and tells us we can go to the buffet. We didn't want the buffet. We wanted to have a nice dinner out. So we move to the bar but the bar is only serving bar food. We sit down in the bar room to just get ignored. So we move to the bar, to just get ignored. We finally have to interject after 10 minutes and order a hot dog and potato skins (Perfect birthday fare). Oh but wait, they're out of hot dogs. So I order a burger instead. The burger was amazing but the potato skins were cold by the time they got to us. So we sent them back. The next time they came out they were bland and tasted like reheated frozen potato skins. Please do not go here. If you have any sense you'll just find a place you'll just have to wait for.

Arrived at reservation time and told we had to wait 30 min. because two tables of people that did not have reservations had just been sat. Staff was courteous, if not embarrassed, but food was not worth the wait.
