If I'm nearby again, I might stop by, but I won't be going out of my way to revisit this just okay restaurant. Service via phone needs much improvement. Our to-go meals were not prepared to order, but rather done in batches well ahead a time, in my opinion. Nothing special was done to our seafood meals to make me run back. Onion ring batter was falling off and flimsy rather than solid and crispy. Fries were okay. I will say the place is bright and clean on my visit....
Beautiful day to eat out on the shaded deck. Good beer selection. I had the fried clam roll with ff. There were 5 huge bellied clams that were delicious. The ff were crisp, the way I like them. My husband had the fried scallop roll. There were 6 sea scallops (on the smaller side) but perfectly cooked. He loved his lunch.
I have been here a number of times (the food is amazing) but tonight was all about the 5-Star customer service. The ladies tonight were top notch from the moment I called to order takeout till I walked out the door. Smiling, extremely kind and personable. What an amazing team you have at the Lobster Boat.
