Any 99's used to be a go to place until covid. Food isn't as good as it was before and is overpriced. I've visited a few the past few months hoping it would get better, but no. Not to mention that some have changed their tall beer glasses to smaller glasses and still charging the same price. Glass size probably not much more than their small beers.

Consistently good chain, but this Londonderry location is failing badly
While we often enjoy the 99 in other towns, the Londonderry restaurant is failing.
Last Saturday, our party of three sat at the corner of the bar with a clear view of the kitchen. What we saw explained a lot.
It took 70 minutes for three hamburgers to arrive.
My “medium” burger was well done; my friend’s “medium rare” was also well done and had to be sent back. I ate mine only because I was starving.
The bartender/server was surly and dismissive—she’d ask a question while walking away and never once checked back after serving our meals. No apology.
When my friend asked to speak to the manager, he admitted things were “not right” and said he’d been called up from the Cape to manage the location because they were “really backed up.” He offered a gift card, but that doesn’t fix the problems we saw.
We could see plated food sitting on the pick-up shelf for 15 minutes before being delivered. (I timed it.)
We’ve been loyal 99 customers for years—in Amesbury, Stoneham, Andover, and Woburn—but this location has earned a spot off our list for at least a year.
Shameful for a brand that usually gets it right.

Though most things were pretty good, it was odd they had run out of three meals mid way thru Saturday. Don't know if that is normal for them. They were understaffed, but doing their best. Wait times to get in were 30 minutes and food about same.

The food is pretty good here. I got the fish and chips. Fish was good and hot the FF were luke warm but had good flavor. Server was ok but seemed quite grumpy. Music was very loud for a lunch in a restaurant that was pretty empty at 1 oclock.

I tried this location for the first time with my family and was extremely disappointed seeing as i am a regular at the hooksett location which i’ve never had a bad experience at! My daughter got mac and cheese and it was burnt. I got the turkey tips and loaded mashed potatoes and the bacon on the potato’s was squishy and raw and the tips were not cooked enough at all it was nothing like what i usually get in hooksett it was disgusting and i couldn’t even force myself to continue to eat it so the manager removed it from the bill but i would never come to the londonderry location again after this experience and i would definitely recommend saving your money or going to the hooksett location if you want decent and edible food! (lost my appetite for the day thanks to this restaurant!)
Traditional 99 fare. Waitress was attentive, accurate, pleasant and efficient. Food was as expected. A good stable choice.

I've lived in Derry almost 2 decades and 99 restaurant is one our many favorite places we go to for a meal. Yesterday, was hankering for some salmon and mashed potatoes as usual I order almost the same meal. Waitress was slow, drinks were heavy on booze made my stomach upset and man we all know fish don't need that much cooking fish was was very dry potatoes were tasty at all and to top it all is I ordered from the premium sides grilled asparagus they were more like steamed.

The food was just okay, but the staff were great. We were sat by who I assume was a manager, who let the waitress know it was our first time at a 99. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a bit ruined by the fact that another patron was apparently trying to look up my skirt, which the manager pulled the person I was with aside to warn us of. He offered for us to swap tables but didn't want to do anything/make a scene without consulting us which was very gracious of him. We ended up just swapping sides of the booth and the rest of the time was fine.
