I called Blackberry Bakery on Saturday morning if they had any small red velvet cakes for a friend’s birthday. The gentleman who answered said they don’t keep them in stock but they could make me one if I was interested. He asked if I wanted any special writing on it and I just said “Happy Birthday, Claire” and then gave me a very reasonable quote. He said the cake would be ready in about five hours. I pick it up along with a tiramisu cupcake since I couldn’t resist...
Stopped by on a whim because my sweet tooth was calling and these treats did not disappoint! First thing I ate was the strawberry ricotta bar and it was delicious! Everything else was just as good, sooo tasty!
We ordered an oreo cake and OMG it was amazing. So many people came up to us and asked where we purchased the cake. Im not a huge fan of chocolate cake but wow. The icing was the biggest hit though. People couldn't stop talking about it. Nice job, we'll be back!
They did mess up the name and when I asked them to fix it they wrote it on a piece of plastic and placed it on the cake. I thought it was strange that they didnt rewrite it on the cake itself....
