Great local place for breakfast or lunch. Love the southwest salad!!
Love this place. Best home fries and sausage egg and cheese !!
A clean, fresh start to the day with a great selection of breakfasts and lunch until 14.00.
Great food. Terrific service. Didn't realize the place was so large. Always busy but easy to get a seat. Limited hours would be my only criticism.
My experience is based on probably one of the top busiest days of the year for breakfast. The wait was 30 minutes plus and the member eating for notification still hadn't received notification after 45 minutes and he went in to check. They told him was still 3rd on the list but would try to find him a table. They did and we were seated within 5 minutes. Once seated our assigned server was on her mark within 5. We ordered. Food was delivered not long after the order was placed. Service was excellent and she deserved an extra gratuity. Food was good. The a/c was on so the food cooled quickly. I had the traditional benny that was not quite traditional. Instead of Canadian style bacon which is more like ham deli sliced ham was served in its place. It's difficult to find good eggs Benedict in the Northeast. So I rate it a four. It's unnerving sitting on the veranda entrance side next to the window on a busy day with some folks watching patrons dine. Low style cafe curtains would add to privacy. So given the day (Father's Day) of the year and how busy it was I'll give them a four. One of the others in our party loved his meal especially the home fries and said he'd go back in a heartbeat. The third person asked for a box to take out.
We went to breakfast Janie's based on Google reviews. The 4.7 didn't disappoint. We had the breakfast power bowl and the turkey sausage bowl. Both were delicious though the power bowl with grilled sweet potatoes versus the sausage bowl with sweet potato tots was better.
$13 for this? No syrup, no utensils (and you want to charge more for whipped cream and berries + other toppings??)—not even a bag for my order.
I always try to support local businesses but this was overpriced and underwhelming. I wanted a nice Belgian waffle for an afternoon brunch…next time I’ll just spend $13 on waffle mix and stay home.
A friend of ours took us here and we have never been here. I must say we were really surprised how good the food was. The service was outstanding and the place has a big open and clean atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and will be telling all we know about this place it was awsome. Good job well done !

-The caprese sandwich should have a balsamic GLAZE, not balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The vinegar tang does NOT belong on this sandwich....Adding the much needed basil would've been good.... not Spinach!
-The chicken salad sandwich was good, no complaints.
-Staff was okay too. Not overly on top of you, but did check in once.
-I'll go back, but just for take out. Lemonade and ice tea were weak with that taste of dirty water.

The level of customer service here is on a steep decline. They're very clearly not hiring the right people to be the face of their business. I've been a customer for a long time and have never been met with the level of condescension that I was met with by Lisa today. Needless to say, I'll find somewhere else moving forward.

Best place to start your first job I recommend working here for your first job
Charging me $2+ to sprinkle a quarter cup of chocolate chips on top of a waffle? Can’t even be arsed to throw it in the batter? Y’all are a joke. Waffle soft as well. Charging $8 for a “Belgian” waffle, don’t even know how to make it.

So I just left Janie's, I ordered the eggs Bennie as usual, I don't understand how a breakfast place does not know how to cook eggs. I ordered poached med and they were almost raw. When I told the server she just looked at me, didn't offer to take them back nothing not a word, just looked annoyed. I also ordered 1 pumpkin pancake which was raw in the middle. What's going on new owners? Plus it's expensive. It was expensive when Janie owned it also but at least it was always good and consistent. Don't know if I will be back.
