The soft serve SUCKS! It’s chunky and never smooth. Also… they don’t have chocolate soft serve - only maple and vanilla. BTW they don’t make their own ice cream
The ladies were cleaning up when we arrived at 8pm. They said they are closed. Clearly Google says they close at 9pm, why mislead customers. And the ladies were quiet rude. Even after requesting, the lafu said icecreams are over, i think she was clearly lying. She didnt wana deal with customers. Its frustrating to drive all the way and receive this kinda service.Worst customer service and place has misleading hours.

I am writing this review as I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of and bad customer service I received leading up to and the day of my wedding by Mack’s Apples. Ideally, I would have a private conversation with management, but they have proved they have a bad track record at responding to customers when they attempt to contact them. When I first got engaged, I was excited for the opportunity to take our first look and bridal party photos at Macks Apples in Londonderry – local to my venue. I verified on their website the process of requesting photography on their property and completed the steps as directed. I filled out the appropriate documents and sent them to the email listed. I made numerous attempts to contact someone regarding my inquiry for the months leading up to my wedding with no success. Five emails, three calls, and I also stopped by the property three times to speak to someone. During one of my visits, I was able to speak to a woman in the back office regarding my multiple attempts to contact. With a lack of empathy, she shrugged her shoulders and said “Well, if you haven’t heard back, I would just assume you cant take your photos here.” I was shocked that a successful business couldn’t even take the time to respond to multiple requests, even if that response was a no. Finally, after that final visit, I received a response letting me know that I was approved to visit the property the day of my wedding for my wedding photos. Fast forward to my wedding day three weeks later. We arrive at the property, on a weekday, during the afternoon to take photos for 45 minutes. I would like to add that we are in an empty field, with no customers, no apple trees and away from the pumpkin patch. The location I chose was somewhere typically not used by visitors. I am taking photos in my wedding dress with my new husband and I see a woman speed up in her car, exit her vehicle and she is clearly angry. She starts speaking to my bridal party; I am told she was rude and yelling at them stating it was private property and we could not be there. She then starts calling people on her cellphone while my maid of honor is locating the confirmation email proving that we were approved to be there. The woman stated “well, management has no knowledge of this.” Its incredibly disheartening to be standing there in your wedding dress, trying to enjoy the moment, watching this exchange take place. There is a way to speak to people respectfully and with a courteous tone, especially working in a customer facing position. I am extremely disappointed in the level of customer service; the way (some) employees speak to people on the property, and just the way everything was handled. We bring our family to Mack’s every year to enjoy the pumpkin patch, the country store and animals – and now I feel like my image of this business is tainted by this horrible experience. I hope management takes action to provide better service to their community moving forward.
Some of the best fall ice cream I’ve ever had. The apple donut sundae was incredible and the pumpkin Oreo was perfect. Service was quick.

This place is excellent and well worth the 5-10 minute wait. It reminds me so much of Richardson’s in MA. The negative reviewers are insane, don’t listen to them. I love the local business vibe, and every staff member was extremely kind.

Mack’s apples will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was growing up I used to practice soccer down by the willow tree and pond. A gorgeous place! So when I was looking for a last minute place to get married I instantly thought of this spot. The owners don’t normally hold weddings here but they made an exception for my intimate family gathering. THANK YOU! It was absolutely gorgeous and my photographer could not shut up about how beautiful the photos were gonna turn out with the sun peaking through the weeping willow branches. Another photographer came down after to take photos of other people. It is quite the location! Shout out to Chris, Maria, Lisa and Kyle for making this possible and for helping me put together the cutest favors for my guests! We got little maple syrup jars and Mack’s made jams that everyone was very excited to receive. Thank you for being a staple in this town and being apart of the best day of my life! 💜 Jessica
been coming here since I was a little kid with my parents. Not sure if as an adult, I'll be coming back very often unfortunately. Be prepared to spend $20 or more on a small bag, and $40 on a large bag. If you want to purchase one bag, and fill it with a few of all the different kinds of apples... You can't. they FORCE you to purchase a new bag at every station. Three separate areas, with all different types of apples, you have to purchase a new bag at every station. It becomes insanely expensive and not even worth the experience. It's cheaper to just go to the grocery store. also be careful where you choose to pick apples, some of them do not have signs anywhere around them, saying you can't pick them, but you will still get yelled at like you're incompetent. The older woman in the silver Kia with handicap plates, maybe she's a manager or something… Is on a power trip. They always have signs that say do not pick, and I'm always respectful of them. A few rows didn't have any signs, and she yelled at me like I was stupid. I told her I didn't see any signs like the other trees, so I thought it was OK. She said it was too difficult to put signs on every single tree, and then asked me if I wanted a job??? insinuating that if I think there should be signs that I can go do it myself? I own Landscape business, I don't have time to run around yelling at people accusing them of stealing apples, lady.
We go Apple picking at different orchards each year, and this was our first visit to Mack’s Apples. The staff were friendly and the shop had a fantastic selection of honey and maple syrup, among other great items. The pumpkin house was adorable. We will be back!
Ice cream is excellent, but when received it’s pretty soupy and And melted, I would expect more, especially waiting in line for a long time and the price sometimes I take it home and I live not even a minute away and it’s like soup when I get home and this isn’t the first time this has happened
This place man. The maple creamee is unbelievably good. But between the crazy waits and the terrible employee attitudes this place is off the list now. We have been coming at 8:45 just before closing to avoid a wait. BTW — why not have a dedicated soft serve line? High margins, fast item to serve, happy customers.

Excellent
They were filling orders randomly. You could wait one minute or 15 for your ice cream, who knows. People who ordered after you get served before you. When my order was called out, the older woman was so busy barking orders to the girl behind her and when I repeated the order to confirm this was mine (it was to go) she said it back to me and handed the bag over, two ice creams - to go. When I got home, there were three ice creams in my bag, one being one out of two that I ordered. The other two were not. When I politely called, the older woman, Jean??, answered. Incredibly rude off the bat, she asked me “what do I want her to do?” And told me I took the wrong order and they had to remake the whole thing for the other party. FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER GO HERE. Plenty of other ice cream stands in the area worth your time and money!!
