Gorgeous location to have a wedding and super convenient (and safe) to have everyone all in one place for an entire wedding weekend. There are a range of options for guests to stay (do note the cabins are, as advertised, rustic!) but there is also a central "hotel" and larger houses around the property. The cabins utilize shared latrines with hot water in the communal showers and flushing toilets. The venue had great food for the wedding dinner as well as other meals, and obviously was in a stunning location. The bridal/groom suite was spacious and had plenty of space for 8 bridesmaids, a makeup woman and a hair woman. Staff was courteous, helpful and fun. Only suggestion is I wish there were heavier blankets in the cabin as it got cold at night (mid-June) - pack layers!
My husband and I got married here July 31st, 2022! It was a dream come true. We wanted an all inclusive summer camp weekend with our family and friends and it surpassed all expectations. Ryan was amazing to book with, Jocelyn was extremely organized and led the culinary team to knock it out of the park and Dave was our knight in shining armor attending to our every need for the weekend. After guests arrived and checked into their cabins, we had an amazing pig roast for the welcome dinner on Saturday night followed by a bonfire with smores. On Sunday, everyone enjoyed the property with swimming, hiking, kayaking, etc before our wedding ceremony at 3:30pm. I have received so many compliments and "BEST WEDDING EVER" from so many guests - I'm so proud! The food, venue, staff and service was unbelievable and they really gave me the opportunity to enjoy the weekend worry-free! There were so many moving parts and everything went perfectly according to plan - I wouldn't change anything about our amazing camp wedding weekend!!
I can say I haven't been lucky since I started investing in crypto currency over the years. I got scammed so many times and I almost gave up not until I heard of Mrs MELISSA CRYPTO on how she has been helping her clients gain beautiful profit and I decided to give her a try and I am amazed from the profit I've been making lately. Went for the Cider Tasting last night. The staff and food were amazing. Beautiful location.
found the place by accident…so glad I did!!!
Beautiful place! Wonderful people! Amazing food!
The scenery is incredible. Lots of old school family tme kayaking hiking to waterfalls hillbilly hot tub by creek and outdoor games . The food was great and staff very friendly. Bathrooms and bed sheets were clean. Only negative was our senior Infirmary cabin was extremely dusty and musty . An open air shelter would have been better for our allergies. And you park down hill in a field about a quarter mile from the cabins. Overall it was a nice place and I'd recommend for a peaceful pseudo camping type weekend.
First time here. We had heard good reviews so tried it out for our anniversary dinner. Great food, friendly and accommodating staff.
My husband and I visited for Mother’s Day weekend. The cabin we stayed in had all the amenities we needed and well worth the price. The meals were delicious and rivaled any upscale resort at which we have stayed. It is a beautiful setting with lots do - all included. And close to many trails and places to visit near My Washington. The managers and staff were warm, friendly and attentive to all our questions and needs. If you are looking for either a quiet couples get- away or family vacation with lots to do with kids, I highly recommend Ogontz. It is a hidden gem. You won’t be disappointed.
My wife found Ogontz on VRBO.com when we were looking for an early spring getaway up north and it did not disappoint. Be prepared that this is not a hotel; it is cabin camping. Accommodations are a little rough around the edges, but that comes with cabins that are a near century old. Furniture is dated, but clean. We had ample firewood for nights in the 30s and plenty of blankets. Hot water is reliable with flush toilets where we stayed in "Jr. TeePee." What makes this place great is the staff and grounds/location. The food it's better than many country-style restaurants I've been to. Their BBQ dinner was superlative and reasonably priced considering all you can eat. For those with dietary needs, especially gluten free, they are very accommodating. Ryan, the manager we met, was incredibly hospitable and personable, offering recommendations on activities like canoeing, hiking, weekly bonfires all on the property. For those wanting to visit Littleton, you're an easy 15 minutes away and you're a short drive to many White Mountains attractions. This is great for an adventurous family or a couple looking for some quiet recreation set apart from noise and speed of daily life. Be aware of limited to no cell service and Wi-fi only at the office/dining hall. But, that's why one comes here.
