The interior of this store was great and so were the employees, keep in mind it’s a small town store so the food is expensive but the sandwich I had was fresh and tasty. I rarely write negative reviews and I really don’t want to harm someone’s livelihood which is why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1. I spent 20 dollars here and sat outside at a picnic table on Saturday before going on a hiking trip with friends. We were in the parking lot for possibly a half hour before we were scolded by an older gentleman and told to leave (keep in mind we were already leaving and had spent at least 60 dollars on lunches before this), I apologized and he yelled at me “oh are you” and then called my friends some choice names that I will not repeat. Even if I wasn’t a paying customer and my car was in someone’s way, getting yelled at and reprimanded when I wasn’t rude to begin with is not adult behavior.

An old-time Country Store like I remember as a kid. Had a delicious turkey sandwich you can tell it was made with love. They have all the basic necessities in case you missed something at the grocery store. Was in town for a doctor's appointment, and I can't wait to return !

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. We picked up some sandwiches at the country store and they were delicious! I had the roast beef and cheddar, lettuce tomato and onion, which came with an herbed mayo on a sub roll. My husband had roast beef with sauerkraut on sliced sandwich bread. They were so fresh and good - generous amounts of beef too. We sat at a table on the town green and it felt like a slice of life from a gentler time. Highly recommended!
