Traditions Restaurant, Cafe and Pub

What an amazinngggg experience we had at Traditions!! My husband and I decided to elope this past weekend, so we reached out to Heidi at Purity Springs Resort to see what she could do—and boy, did she deliver!

Traditions was closed that day, but they opened just for the two of us. We walked in, and the tables were set with white table cloths, music playing quietly in the background. Chris showed us to our table and immediately poured us champagne. Coming from an industry family and having been a server/bartender myself for nearly a decade, there’s no question in my mind that Chris is a veteran server. She didn’t miss a beat. From drinks to our four-course meal, we were never left waiting.

The chef made us one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life. I grew up in an Italian-American household, so I’m very picky with my Italian food ?. Not only did I have no complaints, but I haven’t been able to stop talking about how amazing everything tasted. The pasta was perfectly al Dente, the chicken parm was equal parts crispy and juicy. I believe that the chef (I really wish I knew her name!) was the events chef and not the everyday chef, but nevertheless I expect anyone cooking here has been vetted and is talented. Thanks to the two-women team that gave us a night we’ll never forget—it truly means the world to us!

Excellant food. Small menu but great! Cozy tavern type atmosphere.

Had breakfast twice here while staying at King Pines.Fast, friendly, and perfectly tasty.Try the home fries.

Great find on the road to our destination, stopped by, and was really pleased with service and food. Attached to a resort, but very good place for passer by.

Great food. Great staff. I was staying at the resort for a family reunion and this restaurant handled my zany family with ease and grace. From the first night during which we all wondered in as we checked in throughout the afternoon and evening, through the 3 days of breakfast service this restaurant was amazing.The food was really good, with everyone stating they were happy with their order.The staff was so friendly it felt like they were part of the reunion as well.Highly recommend.

I was hearing great things about this place so gave it a try. my wife and I went absolutely wonderful. service was a 10 and the local people made you feel right at home including you in there conversations bartenders make amazing drinks. the menu is not huge but they have a little bit of everything food was great. but most of all wonderful friendly bartenders,staff and locals. I will surely be going back

Reservation was made thru booking.com. Ski in/out room with2 beds was booked but at check in we were given a room down the road from mountain with only 1 bed. We did complain and ended up with suite style room with 1 queen and 2 twins. (2 rooms with a bath). Only 1 room had TV. Although there was a coffee maker, there was no coffee! Room was dated but CLEAN. TOWELS WERE CLEAN. NO ELEVATOR to second floor so carrying luggage and ski equipment to second floor was tough in narrow stairs and hallways.

Cozy atmosphere, super kind staff (shout out to Chris!), and delicious food! Everything was fresh and so good. My kids loved the bacon Mac and cheese with homemade white cheese sauce. I got the NY strip steak and it was amazing! Would definitely return next time we go tubing at king pine. My mom got the stuff salmon and really enjoyed it as well. Crab cakes were also a win! There was even espresso for lattes and cappuccinos after the meal.

Excellent Service, met Laurie. She made a fantastic seasonal drink, attentive, friendly and super knowledgeable about the area for travels. Dinner was delish. Recommend!

Went for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Was surprised at how the resort is not contained to one area but spread out along the main road. Make sure to bring your car because to get to the lake and back to your lodging most likely you’ll need your own transportation. Only restaurant in the resort is Traditions which was fine but seek out other venues for dinner. You have to either pack your lunch or go to a local restaurant because Traditions is only open for breakfast and dinner. Staff at the office for check in and out were wonderful especially Heidi and Jill. They were very accommodating.

Burger and fries were amazing. And sitting on the screened in porch was the best.
