Blake's Restaurant & Ice Cream

Went to a late breakfast meal with a party of three and we were seated in a corner booth by the hostesses. The waitress was unaware we were seated there. Time passed before we were discovered and the waitress apologized for the oversight.Our menu has many items but no gluten free choices and we had to work around that situation. We received a very good breakfast meal especially the breakfast potatoes!Our seating arrangement made it difficult to get the waitress attention that hampered our service even though she was very pleasant. The food was good but one of our party had to compromise due to the lack of any gluten free choices. This is why the review did not get a better review.

For a busy Sunday morning, the staff was amazing, quick, and affordable. Great stop for breakfast!

We only come to New Hampshire twice a year. We love Blake's ice cream and enjoy the atmosphere.

When your waitress (Tracey) ignores you for the bulk of your time in the restaurant and gives you a major attitude when she does eventually show up, you know it's going to be a bad experience (I had a much more detailed review but Google won't let me post it). Let's just say that her behavior is absolutely unacceptable for any service related industry. Her demeanor wreaks of condescension and disdain. It appears from the reviews that others have had similar experience with her. She certainly does not give the restaurant a pleasant impression.That the dishwasher/host gets your drinks and your food, while keeping a gracious, humble and professional demeanor (Chris), speaks highly of his character and integrity. Chris did everything that Tracey should have. That is why he got 100% of the tip and she got nothing. I hope he keeps his fantastic ethic and goes far with success! Huge thank you for the General Manager, Deb, for being fantastic about the entire situation.

We had breakfast there and the food was great. It wasn't greasy like a lot of the other breakfast places around town. The waitstaff was very cheerful and attentive. Well be back again!

Our waitress Karlie (wannabe goth girl) took 30 minutes to come get my card after dropping the bill off to our table and was relatively non existent during the duration of time we were at blakes if they fire the people like her and actually hire motivated people they might be a good restaurant again

Our waitress had an attitude because we wanted to eat an hour before closing (2pm btw not AM), "we don't have iced coffee this close to closing" even though it was on the menu. Didn't check in with us to see if we needed anything, didn't have time to deliver our food (another waitress did, and she was fabulous). My turkey club was fine, but nothing to write about. Thanks there's so many other local places that are grateful for our business, we'll just go there instead.we had the older waitress on shift that day, about 5'5, grey curly hair.

We use to go here every weekend on summer days. Recently haven't been at all and don't plan on it. They don't sell pints anymore to make you spend more and then they give you one scoop for a two scoop. Things have certainly changed and half the time it seems to be freezer burnt.

Wonderful food & fantastic service!! Small miscommunication on my end, but the manager Marissa helped out with ease & kindness! This location is the best!

Awesome breakfast all day! We had blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup!Then, their own ice cream comes in so many incredible flavors it was hard to decide but I went with chocolate with brownie chunks and brownie swirl. Great choice!

Showed up at 7:35 and ordered 3 frappes. I was told they couldn't sell frappes because the machine was shut down for the night. If you're open you need to be open. It also shouldn't take 20 minutes to be served an ice cream cone when there's no line.

I like this place. Relaxed and friendly place. Greay breakfast and lunch selections. Staff was awesome. I nice lunch was had at a very affordable price. Great value!!

This place has sadly gone downhill to the point we will never return. It was not busy at all this morning yet we waited an unreasonable amount of time not only for our food which was sitting up on the counter being poked and prodded by the kitchen staff's bare hand with long nails but also for the check because they were all too busy goofing off. The food was not what it used to be, the omelets were thin and everything inside it was either undercooked or burnt. Such a disappointing experience all around.

Worst place to eat. If you are coughing or sick they will still sit you next to other customers (older woman who was clearly sick sat next to a toddler) If you order anything from there I would ask for it to be in take out containers. Their dishwasher didn't clean the dishes properly. Food would still be stuck on the plates and used again. They would use utensils if they fell on the floor, and the knives were not cleaned after using raw meat. Just gross will not eat anything but the ice cream and even that has to be in the take home container.

I always enjoy here for breakfast, but today I did not care for my breakfast. Eggs were runny, the corn beef hash was not cooked. Just was not good at all
