Our experience at boards and brews was fantastic! The staff was very kind and our bartender Chantal was very knowledgeable and charismatic. The drinks were delicious and food was out very quickly. 10/10 will return for the service alone

Boards and brew has been a staple for me in Manchester since it opened. When it first opened, it was cozy, filled with employees who wanted to teach you all the games you could play, and awesome food. I'm really sad to see that the food menu has been reduced to quick bites (and the loss of fried cheese curds) and servers and employees who are inattentive and seem uninterested in the games. I love what this place used to be, but it's changed to be a place I'm not really interested in visiting anymore.

I recently booked the private room for my wife’s birthday party and we all had an amazing time and experience. The amount of games available is almost overwhelming. It really is a board gamers paradise. I accidentally over invited and we had 13 people in total so the staff helped us out with some extra chairs. I can’t thank them enough for their service and willingness to accommodate us. The food was so good, the beer selection is great and their signature cocktails are amazing. Needless to say we will definitely return.

Wonderful experience at boards and brews always! I’ve already played at least 3 versions of catan here! The only bar I’ve found where you can play ANY of your favorite board games and have amazing food and drinks. A fun place to go with friends and family for some friendly competition!

I really want to love this place, it's amazing that there are so many board games to try out. However, the service here is terrible. The staff had no sense of urgency and were far more worried about socializing with each other than taking care of guests. Drinks took way too long to come out, the server never came back after we got our food so we went without napkins and condiments. We were ready to leave well before close but nobody came back to check on us until last call. Even after that point nobody asked if we were ready for the check. Had to go up to the bar to close out. Very poor experience. This makes me think twice about coming back.

I really wanted to like this place, I decided to come in since I'm still somewhat new to the area and was looking for a place to come weekly. A staff member came over I took my order for my drink, made it for me and gave it to me. They never came back over for my order for food. I would have ordered food but I waited for a solid 20 minutes and got no one since they were more absorbed into having a conversation with each other rather than checking up on a customer that wasn't playing the games. After that 20 minutes they came over and I paid and then left. I'm going to try again on a Tuesday when they are having the event, but for a first experience can't say I'm impressed. When I come on a Tuesday my review may change.

Came here last night for the fifth time and every other time has been amazing except last night. The server did not come back to the table and left us alone for 3+ hours, the food menu has been changed and is so small now, the food wasn't even warm or good (there was no cheese on our nachos??). Although the atmosphere is nice here, the service and menu need to be reviewed.

So many fun board games. Big tables to gather around. Espresso machine was out of order so our espresso martinis were made without real espresso. It worked. The staff was awesome. Make sure you have a reservation.
