I really love this place. I have been to Cheddar and Rye in the past with my boyfriend, who loves their selection of bourbons and Ryes, and lately have also gone to the Peacock Tails lounge twice, most recently Tuesday night. The cocktails are delicious, and the owner (who I believe was bartending) was great. My friend and I had a great time - the espresso martini I had was wonderful, and the prices are reasonable. I hope to come back soon to be able to try the food, which looks delicious!

Always just a good spot, Even if you don't drink whiskey. The food is amazing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great beer on tap and the mixed drinks are terrific! It can get a bit crowded tho

To be honest, this place seems too classy for Manchester--food, the atmosphere, the owners, the staff and the chef. Can't think of a reason not to go here.

Let me start by saying this place has a great cocktail, however, not sure what happened but we made a visit last night with friends who were in town and the bartender was out of control. Throwing glassware, fighting with customers...made for a very uncomfortable environment. Left without our drinks and sought out a safer establishment. We used to be regulars when in Manchester...this will be our last visit

Very cozy and chill place to enjoy some whiskey. The lighting is so warm its like walking into a pool of Scotch. The selection is varied and contains American, Scottish, and international. Sone bar stools, and couches available to hang out. Was very pleased with the experience and especially the bartender's attentiveness and explanations to the less knowledgeable in our group.

I've enjoyed going here in the past, but seems like they are cracking under the pressure of a new and very busy bar on the same block. Received so much aggressive treatment from a 40+ year old dude bartender in capri shorts that my group felt uncomfortable and left, despite them being the least busy bar on or off elm. Try it while you can I guess because seems like they won't last much longer.Also witnessed a drunk driver slam backwards through a gate across the street one time so look out!

4 of us shared 4 different flights of whiskey’s from several countries. Amazing selection of choices. What fun! Then our sandwiches came and we were hooked on this place. The chef substituted coleslaw for the sauerkraut in my Ruben to make it a Rachael and it was as good as any NY Deli I’ve experienced in 25 years of working In Manhattan every day. Love this place!
