I was treated to an undeserved, HUMILIATING experience at the bar by the Bartender. Probably not going back ever by myself.I was told by my friend that there was a Leather Party on Saturday. I had no other details. So I showed up around 9 PM thinking I'd be early. Little did I know the party had already ended and there were about 3 people at the bar.I drove an hour, in the rain, to get to Doogie's. I walked in, looking probably a bit confused, and walked up to the bar. The bartender accused me of being DRUNK and without even letting me speak a word, said he would NOT SERVE ME.I was COMPLETELY sober, and did not even order anything. I was going to ask about the party... Instead, he publicly humiliated me and accused me of "stumbling" into the bar, and making it public that I was being excluded.He was reluctant to even give me a glass of water, but I asked a few times.. I only stayed because I didn't want to immediately drive back home in the rain.Because of how he spoke to me, no one in the bar would even look at me.I asked for an apology for being treated so poorly, but did not get one.Would I ever go there again? Probably not unless I was in a big group to avoid being singled out the way he did.He said I looked drunk. Thank God the Bartender/owner is not able to put people in jail for how they "look".
