While the atmosphere is a little off for todays standards, it is certainly your classic diner vibe. Service has been very hit or miss, some waiters/waitresses are very pleasant and others are short and appear not to want to be there. The food here is certainly the highlight however, as it definitively delivers on the diner food expectations - even elevating above the bar. I would certainly recommend grabbing breakfast/brunch at this location.
Parking: Very small parking lot out front which can fill up and leave you struggling to find somewhere to park, even just to run in for pickup.

While this Diner might now look like much on the outside, don’t let that fool you! The food and service was excellent with plenty of free parking available in the front lot.
My colleagues and I stopped in for a working lunch and while they have all of the diner favorites, we each decided on breakfast menu items.
I had the classic breakfast with eggs, home fries and bacon. My other colleagues got a Benedict special that came with their home made corned beef and the other got their Breakfast BLT sandwich.
You know the food is good when your group goes from non-stop talking to absolutely silent! We would absolutely come back here again and highly recommend anyone in Manchester area that is looking for a good diner to make sure you stop at Gaslight District Diner.

Was in Manchester for 2 days and was looking for a place to get breakfast within walking distance from the hotel. This place was just 4 blocks away. I can tell you this for certain that from now on whenever I visit Manchester this will be my go to spot for breakfast. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food was phenomenal ! I got the homemade Jamison's corned beef hash, the New England baked beans, the sourdough toast, and sweet potato breakfast potatoes.
The place has a feel of a fine dining establishment, but also that feel of an inviting down home diner.
My favorite dinner in Manchester! It's everything you hope for when you walk into a dinner - excellent food, friendly service and classic comfort. I was in town for almost a week and visited the Gaslight every morning for breakfast -- eggs, ham, potatoes, fruit cup, rye toast and coffee. Highly recommend!
