Food is great. But, I had another experience, that I want talk about - I was there recently and apparently dropped some money on the floor as I was leaving. To me - it was a substantial amount. Another customer found it and turned the whole amount in to staff. We called the next day and told the staff what happened and the exact amount. They had been holding it for us. Staff was kind and great when we went back. So - not only do they have great food - but their customers and staff rae top-notch - kind, fair and charitable.

Visited the Golden Rod for the first time yesterday. My family and I bought a fisherman's platter, and a chicken finger plate. The seafood was flavorful, well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My wife and I commented that it was on par with similar establishments on the Cape. The chicken plate was equally as good, tender chicken, flavorful breading, as good as I have had in a while. The establishment lived up to its reputation, and we will definitely return.
