I've never tasted maple syrup candies this fresh! Even compared to those sourced directly from a Vermont farm, the candies here were superior—incredibly tasty, fresh, and perfectly shaped. They were the absolute highlight of my visit.
But the maple treats weren't the only stars. We thoroughly enjoyed the rock candy sticks and the SF black licorice bites. The dark chocolate, New Hampshire-shaped souvenir served as a cute, gift too.
What truly perfected the experience was the customer service; the employee was remarkably friendly and attentive, making the entire visit a joy. This store is a treasure trove of delicious, high-quality sweets.
I love this cute candy shop. When I lived in Manchester I would take friends here who visited from out of state. I was the tourist this time and again took some friends with me me to get some maple delights to bring back to TX
My boyfriend and I had been wanting to stop by here for awhile since moving down the street 2 years ago. We made our first and unfortunately now only visit just a few days ago. Seemed like your usual candy and chocolatier shop with a large selection. There were two ladies working the day we came in, one we appreciated for her upbeat attitude, the other seemed like she hated every minute of being there. We only asked her if they had carried a couple items we were interested in and she responded with 1 word answers, pointed to where to find them, in a matter as if they were the dumbest questions in the world and that we were bothering her. Mind you, we were the one people in this candy shop on a Friday afternoon at 2PM. We still reluctantly made purchases as I was having a sweets craving but we left as soon as we could after this interaction.
So yummy! Chocolate covered Oreos and maple creams.
Would not go here for the fudge, tasted like it had been there for awhile, in Tupperware containers behind the counter/not on display. That was the only reason I was there.
I recently visited Granite State Candy Shoppe in Manchester to pick up some Dubai chocolate, and I was really impressed! They have a fantastic selection of unique chocolates from around the world, alongside their delicious homemade candies and local maple products. The staff were friendly and helped me find exactly what I wanted. The shop has a warm, welcoming vibe and feels like a true local gem. If you’re looking for special chocolates or sweet gifts, this is definitely the place to go!
I was very impressed with this candy shop. They had very reasonable prices and a large variety of candy, chocolates, and fudge.
The best part for me was the fact that they not only served ice cream, but it was of good quality and very fairly priced. They have a good variety of flavors of hardserve, and for just ice cream they have up to large which is 4 good size scoops. If you want a sundae, the large is 3 scoops and you get all the topping you want for no extra charge. I ended up getting a large sundae with what must have been a cup worth of topping, and it was less than 8 dollars. It would have been even cheaper if I got the four scoop large of just ice cream at around 5 dollars.
I left extremely impressed and satisfied with this shop, and I look forward to going again very soon!

From their attitudes, you’d think the Sunday night staff worked at a morgue, not a candy store! Totally understand that food service jobs can be tough, but treating patrons like a burden isn’t helping anyone.

Excellent service and pretty good ice cream. I doubt we'll come back to the area just for the ice cream but if we're around again I wouldn't turn down another scoop or two here.

The best chocolates and THE BEST VEGAN ICE CREAM IN MANCHESTER (and yes, I'm well acquainted with Ben & Jerry's next door). Their made-in-house chocolate coconut ice cream is simply incredible. Get yourself some!

Had to reneg my 5 stars because the last 3 years the portions of ice cream have gone way down. Superior quality ice cream, imo best in the area, but literally a quarter cup of ice cream on an 8 dollar sundae doesn't cut it.
