Super friendly and quick staff. This place feels like a home. The food is seasoned to perfection and leaves you full. On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable and budget friendly. Tonight was my first time but I’m so excited to frequent this place regularly

Manchester has been needing a dinning experience as this. Authentic deliciousness! Very pleased. Will definitely be one of our favorites now!

Love the place. The employees and owners are great. The bartenders know how to take care of you. Gumaas curry chicken is literally the best meal I can find within 20 mile radius of my apartment. The J*** Chicken is also completely amazing. All their options are great. My friends and I get gumaas at least 1-2 times a week. I’ve even got it 4 times in one week.

I literally loved eating here. They serve such amazing food and have great diversity in there restaurant. I can finally eat some of my culture food without having to make it all the time and its cheap! (super cheap). There service is astronomical. I definitely recommend that you cone try this place even as something new to try. My favorite dish was the mac n cheese, they really made a food I hate into something I really like. All of this food was made with true love. It was amazing.

This place is my favorite place to eat at!! There food was cooked so well and have great service. They treat you like family and you can tell that the food is made with love! My favorite part is how quick they serve you your food! Other places have me wait an hour or two, but not Gumaa’s bar and grill! 100% recommend !!!

Got there when they opened, so took a while to get ready. This is maybe more of a night spot than lunch spot. J*** chicken was fall off the bone tender and really tasty. Not the same as Jamacian j**** Other person had beef stew and collard greens which were a big hot. Spicy rice with the meal.

I hate to write this type of review but it is very important. This restaurant served me raw fish. The beans were salty. This is the 3rd time I have ordered at this place for my family and there has been an issue. I have not said anything until now. I informed the restaurant and they were receptive however this is unacceptable.

Amazing food! We decided to drive from Portsmouth over to check this place out, 45mins later we were not disappointed. We ordered the oxtail, fried tilapia and beef stew with collard greens, spicy and white rice with fried plantains. The oxtail was sooo succulent, savory with amazing flavors. Fried tilapia had the most crunchy super light texture with an amazing flavor. You can’t go wrong with anything here. Yo top it off the bar tender was so kind and chill. Will be back for sure.
