I had the misfortune of trying the Chicken Jalfrezi. Usually this dish, when I've ordered it anywhere, is delightful - peppers and onions and goodness. KS offers a variation wherein you get a medley of every other possible vegetable that would otherwise be tossed out, making for a dish that was (for me) 25% chicken and 75% inedible. Worse still, the chicken was chewy and both the Jalfrezi and the Onion Kulcha I had were gritty.
I will give them points for friendly staff and a medium level spice that actually has some heat, which is a rarity in New England. But overall I can't recommend it when there are other Indian spots in Manchester that offer both significantly better food and a nicer venue.

I just spent 5 months in Nepal and the food here taste exactly the same as if it was made in Nepal, all the cooks are also from Nepal, Dherai Dherai Mitho cha, the food is delicious and authentic, Dhanyabad, Namaste

I’ve come here twice with my girlfriend and a friend of ours who lived in Nepal for the past year. Everything we’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. Our friend told us the food tastes exactly how it does in Nepal. The food, service, and experience is always top notch

Tried Katmandu Spice today and it was very good! My nephew had the lamb curry, which he said was amazing. My wife had the Butter Chicken and was also very happy her choice. Both of them tried the Cheese Naan, I had the Garlic Naan. We all loved the Naan here. I didn't get try the Cheese, but my wife has had the Garlic and thinks the Cheese is even better. I personally like to try a lot of different things, so I got the Tandoori Mixed grill, which comes with a little bit of a few different items - Tandoori Chicken, Lamb, Shrimp and Chicken Tikka. OMG, it was all so good! The service here was very good. People were friendly, gave us time to decided, answered questions about the food, kept our drinks full and continually ensured we were satisfied and not in need of anything. Overall, a nice establishment with a very large variety of items on the menu. I will be back in the future to try more of the menu!

The food is really good, and full of taste. I ordered a chicken chilli and chicken tikka with garlic naan for a take out. It was warm when arrived, and full of flavors. The chicken chilli was little spicy but tasty. And the garlic naan was very buttery which complemented the chicken tikka really well. All in all, I’m really satisfied. 5 stars for sure!!!!
During my recent trip to Artist Bluff in New Hampshire, I sought out some Nepalese cuisine on my way back and discovered Kathmandu Spice in Manchester. The food was amazing, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. A great find! As of Oct 2024.
