I organized a football team event for 50 held at the Boneyard (their function place), and everything could not have been more perfect. We upgraded to include the ribs which was such a good idea. The reports from the team were all positive, it blew away the Italian meal from the prior year. There was plenty of leftover food which the athletes were so excited to take home. 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Nice place. I had the pulled pork, and it was definitely fork tender. Not big and loud. I could actually talk to my wife without yelling. We'll go back.

I wanted to update my review, I spoke with the kitchen manager John today and after speaking with him I am ready to give this establishment another try and put the misunderstanding behind us. I appreciate him reaching out to me and not only listening to my complaints but found a more than fair resolution. If the food is half as good a John's customer service I'm sure it will be great. Thanks again for reaching out!

Table of 6.

Service 3/5
Ordered entrees for each person and two starters. Service took some time even tho the restaurant was not busy at all - 4:30 dinner, yes with the grandparents.

Food was 4/5
Ribs were pretty good. Cornbread was fantastic. Collard greens lacked seasoning. Dirty rice was nice and dirty. Chinese pie was creamy and meaty, but lacks seasoning too.

Wings were had crispy skin and juicy meat. Would recommend. Sausage chunks were mid.

Atmosphere 5/5. Enjoyed reading the vanity plates. Other customers and tables were having a good time. Family friendly environment to consume hunks of charred and smoked beast flesh.

Vegetarian options: Very little to no vegetarian options

Dietary restrictions: Has a gluten-free menu.

Parking: Plenty of parking. Free lot.

The real deal for real barbecue. Every meat on the menu tastes like it's a specialty. Ambiance is delightful. Parking is all over the place but don't be discouraged.

Omg. Delectable ribs full of meat and a variety of tasty sauces. It's like going to barbecue heaven. Sides are delicious too.

Delicious food and sauces! Four of us came here and ordered the feedbag shovel and an additional pound of brisket and just polished it off. Went on a Wednesday night and place was surprisingly busy, would recommend maybe making a reservation if more than 2 people. Will be back

Been to Kc’s dozens of times and have always had decent experiences, but we recently moved about 45 minutes away… so last night we decided to get some take out on our way home.

The good (from previous visits): unique atmosphere, lots of stuff to look at - the barn/bar area is super cool. Food is typically very good, and good portion sizes (for the most part).

The bad/not so great: recent (unsure how recent) price increases roughly 35%… they’ll charge extra for sauces, and not tell you if you ask while during a takeout (previous experiences). Last night however I asked for the garlic/mayo that COMES on the chicken cordon bleu sandwich to be on the side (as we have a 45 minute drive home, and didn’t want my bun to get soggy)… that resulted in a $.50 additional charge.

Pretty disappointed with the experience last night… Other than the meal costing $55 for two sandwiches & one app, my wife ordered the brisket sandwich ($19) and it was so spicy it wasn’t even enjoyable.

Take my review as you wish; but the 35% bill increase was rather shocking…

Stopped here after arriving at the airport for some leaf peeping this fall. KCs has a cozy and rustic atmosphere, and the staff were all super friendly.

The food was decent. The best things were the chicken, coleslaw, and brisket. Oh and the applesauce. Definitely the applesauce. The pulled pork, cornbread, and onion rings were just okay. The best sauces are the apple and smoked hickory. I also ordered a virgin painkiller to drink and it was amazing, my first time trying a drink like that! For dessert I ordered the maple pecan bacon ice cream and it was just okay. Overall a nice stop and decent BBQ.

Brisket/bacon sandwich was tasty, but I could have used some more horseradish sauce and fried onions on it. Fries were hot and delicious, and I love to top them with the Apple BBQ sauce.
