To counter other reviews, I do not speak more than 10 words of Spanish lol and the lady at the counter was very welcoming and sweet! She knew I wanted brugal just by me pointing at the closed cabinet doors under the counter haha. The pastelitos were delicious, good music, and a warm hole-in-the-wall vibe.
The staff are friendly, and helped us order (thank you for your patience!). The restaurant is beautiful, and I love the atmosphere. The portions are big, and the food is so delicious. We got to try something new and I can't wait to come back! A hidden gem.
The restaurant had a friendly staff that helped us order and I got the oxtail which was delicious. The decor was really nice too and I will try dining in next time I'm in town.
