Very homely Italian vibe. The Maria Rosa sauce was amazing. I tried the gnocchi which was very light. The bruschetta and garlic bread were really tasty. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. This is a great spot for a date night.
After researching restaurants for our one night in Manchester, I made reservations a week in advance. We prefer eating in family run establishments. The restaurant is cute, clean and cozy. The food is average. The service was poor. We waited 15 minutes for water and another 20+ minutes for our wine. Our food finally arrived almost two hours later and only one salad was brought out so we waited another 15 minutes for the second. Bizarre. The waitress failed to keep us informed...
The food was phenomenal. It took a little bit to get there but the shift does a great job. If you're looking for a nice date night or even surprise a friend with a good meal, this is it. The atmosphere there is wonderfully quiet with Italian music playing in the background.
