First time trying goat and it was a 10/10. The food overall was amazing, the main meal and the sides were priced perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal.

A friend and I went this evening and found the food to be delightful! It's a small place, feels like a hole in the wall, but the staff member was incredibly charming and we had a fantastic time, we will definitely be back. I had the jerk chicken, plantain chips, and spicy rice which was all amazing. My friend had the okra beef meal with spicy rice and collard greens which he said were very good. I am recommending this place to everyone I know who can handle some spice!

I ordered the Spicy Okra Beef Stew, Spicy Rice, Collard Greens, and Plantains and each dish was unforgettable. The stew was rich and deeply flavorful, with tender beef and okra simmered to perfection in spices that balanced warmth and heat without overwhelming the palate. The spicy rice was bold, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, the kind of side you can eat all by itself and still feel completely satisfied.
The collard greens were cooked just right, tender yet hearty, with a savory depth that showed real care in preparation. And the plantains? Sweet, caramelized, and absolutely addictive, they tied the entire meal together beautifully.
What impressed me most was how fresh and vibrant everything tasted. This wasn’t just food thrown together; it was crafted with love, authenticity, and attention to detail. You can feel the pride in every plate.
If you’re anywhere near Manchester, New Hampshire or even if you’re like me and need to make the trip from Boston, Maya’s Kitchen is absolutely worth it.

I ordered via Door Dash so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere. However, I can say that what I ordered that night was simply OUTSTANDING! I ordered jerk chicken with spicy rice, collard greens, and a side of samosas. Those were easily the best samosas I've ever had! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The jerk chicken was just right. Omg! I wished I'd gotten two orders of just that. The rice was great and so were the greens. I'm new to NH and this was my first local meal and I can't wait for the next! 🫶🏾♥️

I had an incredible experience at this African restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant décor and lively atmosphere made me feel like I had been transported straight to Africa. The menu was diverse and full of authentic dishes I had never tried before, each bursting with rich flavors and unique spices. I especially loved the traditional stews and grilled meats—they were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about the cuisine, taking the time to explain dishes and make recommendations. The music and overall ambiance added so much to the experience, making it not just a meal, but a cultural journey. I left feeling inspired, satisfied, and eager to come back and try even more dishes!

we ordered online over an hour in advance, and the food was still delayed by half an hour, which was really unfortunate. the employees didn’t seem to be bothered at all at the wait and didn’t act bothered and just expected us to wait??
