It was amazing place with loads of fun people. The bartenders were phenomenal. My only gripe was the KJ that night for karaoke. His QR code wasn't working and he acted like I was the one who didn't know how to scan it. If people are having trouble he should be more accommodating and add people to the list. He wasn't very helpful and as a KJ he should be all about the patron as they keep him there. Just a suggestion.
Went here after Karaoke at another bar down the street. Place was packed (as usual) and atmosphere is generally uncomfortable due to several reasons I observed during the evening: 1. Understaffed - I'm not even certain how many servers there were, but the wait time for one drink (eventually going to the bar area because no one came to the table) was about 25 minutes. Bartenders are stressed, so they are NOT friendly (I felt bad for them) 2. Crowded - WAY too many people allowed in, therefore tensions are HIGH with the staff and patrons. 3. Drugs - people visiting the bathrooms and 'sharing' white powder and pills made me extremely uncomfortable. After #3, we LEFT because I do NOT want to be associated with the dredge of humanity getting high while I'm trying to enjoy time with my friends. I visited Garvey's last year and was not this horrified, so I am not sure what happened and why this business doesn't seem to care about the scathing reviews.

This place struck me as a biker bar in atmosphere. I only had a scotch, which was a healthy pour, but I left the last few ounces of it because I found 2 fruit flies in it. I didn't stay long, and I won't be back.
